I was wondering what people thought of it either way, it just struck me that i do think high sens has "advantages" to low sens as you can snap faster/recover faster however i think using high sens also puts burden in your hands as you need more to getting "used" to faster movement changes (can be solved by getting more used to it perhaps?) but then again it also makes it need less play area and just less movement overall so possibly(?) more stamina, from what i gather in low sens you're bound to be alot more accurate but gets tired easily there could be more but that's just what i got from playing low sens for a long time.

Side Note: The sensitivities i played is:
Old: 0.4 on 1200 dpi
New: 1.2 on 1800 dpi

High sens -

pro: Easier to hit big and fast jumps.

con: harder to control.

Low sens -

pro: Easier to control.

con: harder to hit big and fast jumps.

High sens: more speed, easier to hit cross-screen jumps, less mouse drift, harder to snap, less control overall (more shit misses),if u have sweaty hands you might just stick to the mousepad(very annoying).

Low sens: opposite to high sens.

I would say if you mainly play 7*+ aim maps u should try to play with high sens. Otherwise I would stay on low/medium sens.

This. Minus the cross screen jumps part (i suck at that still)

Personally i use high sens because my desk is really small, i tried low sens but the mouse just keep falling off the desk lol

Low sens gives you less agility but more control. High sens is the opposite. Different sensitivities also favour different grip styles with you using more of your whole arm as you lower sensitivity. At the at the other extreme, you only use your fingers for very high sens.

What is best for you depends on your mouse and your current grip style. A lot of high sens players have trouble going down to lower sens because they only use thier wrist and fingers and dont know how to use thier arms. This means it could be possible that a lower sensitivity is more comfortable but it will be uncomfortable for a while untill you learn.

Also higher sensitivity generally favours heavy mice and the reverse is true for lighter mice. This is because heavier objects are harder to accelerate (inertia). Ideally the best mouse would weight 0 grams and you would use a low sensitivity to match it. This is because this inertia affects all your movements, lowering your flexibility to change your speed and accelerate. This inertia is beneficial for holding the cursor in one spot or keeping constant motion but its less beneficial while snapping or moving after snapping, because you need to change velocity and overcome inertia. Mouse pad drag is different because the drag is mostly constant and so its superior to the drag provided by mouse weight which is highest only when you want to change your velocity. Both mouse eight and mouse pad drag add stability but mouse pad drag is superior because it will aid the player when they are trying to stop. A heavier mouse will try to continue its motion due to inertia, this makes aim less snappy. Additionally the drag of a pad is flexible since if the player presses down the friction increases.

TL:DR Low sens is the best but it isnt learned overnight and is best paired with a low weight mouse and a pad that has some friction to balance the low weight.

interesting insight, i think you gave me some stuff to think about, frankly things like this are left experimented on your own as everyone has a different preference. one guy is comfortable with high sens, this person likes it low. but that's still a fascinating way to go about things.

speed/control, massive jumps in aim feel when you incorporate/stop incorporating arm aim. i like being able to place curson on any pixel and low sens is nice for that
