TOURNAMENT INFO
Full ruleset is on the wiki page

  1. TOURNAMENT FORMAT: This tournament is 1 versus 1 and will use Score v2
  2. ROUND STRUCTURE:
    1. Qualifiers: 4-song mappool, no winning condition, no tiebreaker.
    2. Playoffs and Group Stage: 10-song mappool, best of 7 (first to 4), one tiebreaker song
    3. Round of 32 and Round of 16: 12-song mappool, best of 9 (first to 5), one tiebreaker song

    5. Finals and Grand Finals: 16-song mappool, best of 13 (first to 7), one tiebreaker song
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE

Similar to the previous edition, the following points should be noted:
  1. Tournament will have no slots dedicated to SVs - there will be no SV qualifier or SV maps.
  2. We will be using the protect system - players will have 1 map to protect AND 1 map to ban.
  3. MWC rules for picking maps will be applied: up to 2 minutes to pick a map and 2 minutes to get ready, with a single tactical timeout per player per match to be used when necessary.
  4. New: Players will no longer be eligible to utilise tactical timeouts during a tiebreaker - there will instead be a fixed 3-minute timer that can be ended prematurely upon player agreement.
  5. Warmups can be up to 3 minutes long for early stages. Players arriving late will forfeit their ability to pick warmups.
New to this edition as well, we will be using a revamped version of the Group Stage. The exact rules regarding Group Stage can be found on the wiki.
