So I started playing osu! a few months ago back just before new year. I started with 0 skill at the game but I have gotten a bit better and I have started noticing a problem with my timing. I can aim really well and consistently hit the circles and sliders, but my timing is off so at random points in the song I will start getting 100s or 50s and might miss once or twice. does anyone have any tips that might help improve my timing?

The only thing I can think of is that you use the precision bar to see if you are doing it too fast or slow

Honestly playing more might be a bit better for you. Like Diego said, focus on the timing of your hits and whether they are too slow/fast, and try to correct them next time you play. This will build some rhythm sense and help your accuracy in the long run.
You should definitely play more to get more experience. You should also use the ur bar at the bottom of your screen to check if you’re hitting notes early or late. Also, if the notes feel consistently off from the music, you should play around with your offset settings until it feels right.
