Basically for context I use mouse and keyboard and I have not had problems up till about trying 5 and 6 and harder 4 stars because I run out of mouse space from moving so much on the screen, and I was wondering if anyone else and had this issue and if they had a solution, thanks :D

Well, you could try a higher sensitivity setting so you’ll move around less. Would have to kind of re learn and get use to it though. That or you can try and re adjust your mouse during slow parts on a map or a break but not all maps have that…

Adjusting your sens doesn't take that long to get used to. It's either that or get a bigger mousepad or more desk space, whatever's limiting you.

It could be that you're putting pressure unevenly and lifting the mouse at times so your mouse ends shifting position on your pad. Also, heaven forbid, if you use mouse acceleration your mouse will shift positions on your pad.

How low is your sensitivity anyway? I figured mine was kinda low for this game and edge of screen to the other edge is about 4 inches for me.

I've had this problem before. I just bought a bigger mousepad and boom here I am

I actually started by playing on a mousepad back in 2016. HOwever, I got to the point that I was running out of room to hit anything and was risking slipping off. When I removed it, I got significantly more control over my mouse movement, although at a cost of having my arm sometimes stick (sort of) to my desk and I have to try and un-stick it without breaking rhythm.

I'm hoping in the future I can get a desk with enough space for a bigger mousepad, and I can use that height to not have my arm stick as much. BOth might work for you as well; no mousepad if you're strapped for room, or a bigger one if you have the space.

I'd say increasing sens does help as Puck- states, but you could also try to just get used to aiming for a longer amount of time without feeling too uncomfortable while playing those long maps, I for one sometimes just pause the game at a break or very slow part to readjust the placement of my mouse. Something that also helps is just getting a bigger mousepad, although again, increasing sens helps a lot, take a look at doomsday's liveplays and see how he deals with mousedrift (he has insanely high sensitivity though, so you might want to just increase yours a little and not as much as his sensitivity)

I’ve learned to adjust my mouse mid-map, especially on spinners and long sliders (and of course breaks in the song). I don’t recommend changing your sensitivity, as this can mess up your aim for a while, especially since you can already play 4-6* maps with your current sensitivity. If you truly think that it would help you to change it, then go for it, but just know that it’s going to take a bit to get back to the same level again.
