What happens to ranked scores when played offline?

So for a number of reasons, I only have access to half the internet most of the time.

Sometimes I am only able to communicate with http and https, so I can access this website, but can't connect to Bancho.
Other times, everything but http(s) works, which means I can connect to Bancho, chat, and play multiplayer, but can't access the website, use osume.exe, or view online leaderboards.
(Yeah my internet situation is complicated, don't ask)

So I was just wondering,
1. Does playing ranked work normally under any of these situations?
2. If not, do your scores still get submitted when you next have a proper internet?

Not sure if this is the right forums to post these type of questions, so sorry if I'm at the wrong place! And thanks in advance :)

No, nothing will be affected if you play offline. It would be way to easy to hack offline and submit online.

You will never have your score submitted by playing offline.

If you're logged in but having problems with your connection, the game will keep on submitting until 10 minutes later before your score is considered invalid. If you close/restart the game within the 10 minutes grace, your score is automatically considered invalid.

I swear it's less than 10 minutes.

Well, I had the status "Submitting score..." for 10 minutes before returning to "Loading stats...".

Well, that is... really bad... Ah well then. That sorta explains my PP not changing at all, I guess. Thanks for the help.

I just want to point out that I've noticed that when I play without internet access (I have limited access sometimes too) and then put my computer into sleep mode during that 10 minute period, when I wake my computer from sleep my score submits. I assume that's a bug.

Not a bug. Unless you specifically press the "Play Offline" button on the login window, the game will keep trying to connect. I'm assuming that the game freezes its state when you put the computer to sleep, so the period will only last during awake hours.

Well yeah, I guess I didn't mean a bug, just probably not something intended. Not that it matters of course, because it doesn't introduce any exploits or anything.
