Hahah. I was hoping this would happen :D
I think it'd be pretty cool if some original maps were made in this style too, if this works out ._.

Could the songs with lyrics be made in both Japanese and English versions?
(One option: you could do one difficulty from the version-1, and do another difficulty from the other language's version-2?)

Glad you put this together Echo.

I was thinking if we get enough of the tap-only games SB'd well, and we get on Peppy's good side, maybe he could implement some flicking for us in osu >:D

Also, I have most of the .mp3s directly from the OST which I can provide. I have disc 2 and 3, I guess I should work on getting #1 as well.

Remix 4 is probably my favorite, but it's so much holding and then flicking :/ Definitely can't map without some help from peps

Also, man, is nobody seriously doing munchy monk? Somebody better hop on that before I finish drum, else i dibs it ;x

edit for echo:
436 x value cannot be achieved on max grid without opening the .osu. Can we make it either 432 or 440?

Question: Should everything that does not appear in Tengoku be transparently skinned? Hitcircles and stuff obviously, but how about score, combo, health?

Can't do score and combo - we need it to appear in results screen.

432/440 is fine I guess, I just worked out that number from a calculator, didn't check for grid snap :P

May I suggest using these?

PS: Is the guy in "Munchy Monk" really a monk? I always thought he just was a guy who had a paralyzed wrist eating candy.

Oh, gosh, I'm gonna have to be creative. I think I know a way to preserve the "Tap to close your yap!" feel of the game. :D

since Moai doo-wop will probably be a bit easier to map (since there are no flicks) I'm changing my map to that until someone figures out how to make flicks work. In the meantime, if anyone else really wants to map space soccer, they can take it.

Some questions:
-for parts for holding notes can i make a very ugly slider that just wraps around the click me part? Sadly the slider wont be transparent and you don't even need to try to let go at a correct timing to get a perfect
-for storyboard ill try my best on this part

EDIT:
can anyone help me find the fillbot fx? I've been searching the whole dam wav library multiple times. I probably found like the fx for all the other songs lol.

Glee club is really reliant on holding down the stylus btw. blue birds its pretty straight forward in terms of clicking, but you may find that boring i dunno. (should be a pretty easy SB though)

All the sound effects should be in the wavesample folder. It's just a matter of.. listening to it a lot :/ I had to listen to the entire list 6 times until I was sure I found all my sound effects. Once you find one sound effect, the others should be adjacent.

Yeah, can't get this to work. Emulators are VERY save specific. I think one of the biggest problems most of the emulators have is a bad save autodetect system. Did you pull that from a m3. r4, cyclo? or do you use that in an emulator?

I think I'll have the best luck with one just pulled straight from an emulator. (I have no$gba, desmume, and ideas)

Yeah this one was from my R4. tell if you or someone else can get it to work or get the sprites in some other way.

I can't find the hitsounds for Dawg Ninja and It's pretty difficult to make it fair with high veloity sliders all the time.
I take Karate man instead.

Anyway, I wouldn't be interested in doing a map in the Rhythm Tengoku Gold format, but I was thinking of eventually mapping Idol regularly. Just throwin' that out there. :?

Whatever. :P Even though Fan Club/Idol is still available, I'll just decline anyway. I'm still learning how to storyboard and I think someone else could do a better job with it. :D

Make sure that when you try to get these ranked or approved, that all the maps have the correct artist name. "Nintendo" or the game's title are both wrong.

Hmm, did anyone yet think of a way to pull off flicks? I can't really see a flick work as a high velocity slider.

I'd be much more comfortable mapping and SBing Munchy Monk... I'm having a hard time grabbing the sound effects for Glee Club and editing them to fit in...

I'll wait for Sinistro to say something, though.

If I had the time, I'd try doing Munchy Monk, myself. I already have the storyboarded sounds for the calls (in English, with the EBA), and it's just click-on-one-spot, though it's been suggested by the normal map's mapper that I do what I had originally planned and do them all as hitsounds instead. (And they also suggested that I use the Japanese sounds, because they're better. If I do this, I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to do a Japanese and an English version, both of 'em, because I'm a little snobby that way. :P)

Of course, if I had the time.

Best part? I've only played this game ONCE. That's right, ONCE. (Well, not counting the two times I played the demo from the Nintendo Channel.) I have to get this game soon, though.

Edit: Welp, looks like I can't claim dibs on Munchy Monk, given how popular it is. Oh, well. XD;

I wouldn't bump, if I don't have something to say.

So, yes, I tried and made a little beatmap having TWO rhythm heaven levels (by My Little Pony: FiM)

Is the offset/bpm off? I would love to hear some feedback.

(I needed to make the videos a bit lower, but I tried everything to finally get the best result out of it.. My result: This beatmap is exact 25.4 MB large (0.4 MB more then you could. HURRAY!)
