I only play solo and most of the time I want my screen completely black (dim/shit+tab/tab) but whenever I get to a relatively big break on a beatmap the leaderboard pops in and throws me off.

I will ALWAYS notice and get distracted, if I'm doing better than my previous attempts I get anxiety and will miss in the next 10s.

My question is as the title says. Is there a skin element or anything I can delete/change in the skin to make it not show up? (other than non-transparent tape over the monitor)

Hi lolaras007!

You could try making "menu-button-background" shorter and align it to the left, but the words are still visible.
So it's best to just stick it to pressing "Tab" key.

So, I did play around with the "menu-button-background" size but that unfortunately changed only the menu beatmap selection (as you stated).

Nothing changed during the break and I still got the leaderboard to show up at full size.

Mind you, the tab option is always left at the " hidden till break" state that I don't want.

So I'm guessing that the leaderboard is not customizable with skins?

Yes, unfortunately.

Alright, I recently found an alternative and it's working perfectly but only for osu!std. The previous solution I gave you, you can change it back.

Alternate Solution:
First of all, create a new image with 427×1367 pixels. Then, make a 355×201 pixels of black image and align it to bottom left. Then, find your "inputoverlay-background" from your current skin and align it at the top left. Save it as "inputoverlay-background" and replace that file. If it supports "@2x", double the amount of pixels I've mentioned.

You should be having like this:

Yup that's exactly what I got, I'll mess around with it to get it up to my liking.
Thank you so much, you really helped me!
