What do you use measure your improvement? I've been using pp and accuracy, but it still feels like I'm almost playing blind and hoping to improve. What are some strategies you use to improve in certain maps (like streams vs jumps)?

I measure it by:
  1. Unstable Rate and accuracy
  2. Beating old local/global scores from the past
  3. Looking back to my stream speed
  4. Stamina by playing instense maps before I couldn't pass or acc pretty well

so you use your old leaderboard scores? that makes sense. Could you explain unstable rate to me?
MrSparklepants
I usually look at my old scores or try playing maps I couldn't play in the past

Old scores for me

There are quite some ways for me to tell I'm improving or not:
-Looking back at my old scores or replays and see how I have improved overtime
-Playing back beatmaps which I thought, in the past, was impossible. (With mods if needed)

I usually look at my old scores, and my stamina when playing long maps.

On this wiki explains it pretty well, it's at the end of the site. In simple words, it's how precise you were on the map, the lower, the better. Try getting lower than 100.

I measure my improvement by:
  1. How easy the map feels
  2. Unstable Rate
  3. Accuracy
  4. How easy it is to FC
  5. Miss count
  6. Shitmisses
  7. Ability to play

i simply don't improve, so i can always tell that i'm not improving. very efficient.

Saving maps that I got around 85%-90%, saving those maps in a collection folder called "Challenge" and going back to those maps every week. For most of the time I will have less shitmisses, better accuracy and easier to read.
