My only problem with the ctl-472 is the response rate. The g640 and g430 have an RPS of 266 and the ctl-472 has 130 or something. I am planning to get a 240hz monitor and am not sure if the tablet is gonna cause me trouble or if the movement won't be smooth enough. So in terms of specs, gameplay and if you could give an overall rating to each one. What's the best one of these 3? The ctl-472 is over enough for me but the RPS is gonna be an issue. Also the G430 is too small (4*3inches and the ctl-472 is 5.98*4inches).And if there isn't a good way to get a Rev A G640 then I cant get it.Then...What other tablets could I get for around 50euros? Thanks in advance

A lot of people say the G430S is too small, but practically nobody uses a tablet area large enough to where that would matter. If you used the entire tablet area of the G430S it would be pretty huge.
Also I personally can't tell a difference between the CTL-472 and G430S in latency.
And I think you're overthinking the polling rate thing. I really don't think it matters that much. It's kind of like being worried that a game is only running at 130FPS on a 240hz monitor.

Honestly, just get whatever one you think would be more comfortable to use. Don't get hung up on the fine specs.
And don't think one is better than the other because that's what "pros" use. Yes, whitecat uses the 480, but I believe one of the top 10 guys uses XP-pen.[/quote]

The G640 is still a gamble and in the end it's either on par or worse than the 472 and if the 472 which is basically the 480 with a lighter pen (i like the lighter pen) is the best tablet can buy then It just comes to skill now lol. Thanks for all your help your first reply was from like yesterday lol. I really wanna thank every body that helped me pick the ctl 472 and really just thank you. I m just about to go sub 400k and what s better than celebrating while ordering a dummy thicc tablet. I need a name doe... Imma name him.....LIAM oh yes that sounds sweet. It's a good name and it starts from L from ct-L so yeah we got a name an everything.. I am not sure what liam's (i sound like a psycho I know) It's probably gonna be a dummy thicc anime tiddie girl but whatever. Well now am pretty hyped thanks for all *everybody*.

The CTL-472 pen is quite similar to the XP-pen pens. They're basically the same length and weight but the 472 is a little thinner. They are both made out of plastic but the XP-pen is a little bit smoother.
But I always put a large rubber grip on my pens to help with sweat and slipping.

The XP-pen tablets have a higher lift off distance but I drag so I can't really tell you which one is better for hovering.

As far as the nibs go, I've ever needed to replace one so I don't know. They basically last forever unless you're pressing insanely hard.

I use G430 for about a year (even before osu) and had never to be replaced for the pen nib. Like what the other person said, if you want big area, the G430S entire area serve well enough for you to play osu.

Plenty of players started out with that and stick with it for a long time too.

It's a good quality tablet for the price its offering. Hovering distance is great, same for dragging.

Great in terms of hardware smoothing, does the g430S have any? I prefer it to have none and also the ctl 472 seems to be superior in every aspect except RPS which wont make much of a difference even when I get my 240hz screen. Also it retails for literally 99 euros for some reason and it's at sale for 45euros rn, just 4 euros less than the ctl 472. I figured out I should talk with some data so this is a comparison of both:

The G430S has a P01 passive pen,4*3 inches active area,8192 pressure levels,5080 res LPI,266RPS,0.01 acc,10mm reading height and support windows 7+.

The Ctl 472 has an LP-190K,8.3*5.7*0.3 inches active area,2540 LPI (res),2048 pen pressure levels, both have no buttons I think and no multitouch and a battery free slim pen(great).

Now that I saw these.... Does the pressure levels, acc and res (LPI) matter for osu? Like it's on sale for 5 euros less and it has all these it seems great. I kinda like G430S now but I am kinda problematized with the READY FOR OSU! you dont have to download drivers thing.. Can I still download the hawku drivers? Those seem like the best for osu.
I am looking forward to your response asap. I've already gotten the ctl 472 and I have around 20hours to cancel or keep the order. If those matter and the G430S is better I will get a better tablet for 5 euros less. Thanks in advance .

Edit= https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgrD4skMfZI This guy compared (previous 472 owner) a ctl-472 with the G430S and he found it smoother, more responsive, steadier and better. I think I will be getting the G430S now ngl. I will probably cancel the order. Also the G640 seems really good but is there a way to get a legit Rev A for sure? Also what s the difference between G430S and G640? thanks

The g430s has a slight amount of hardware smoothing iirc, pressure levels do not matter for osu!, you should be able to use hawku drivers with the g430s. You are overthinking this though, both are good choices.

hey again. Oh that's nice to know nobody would answer that. So, the only problem left with the ctl-472 is...it's too good lol. Ngl Imma go for it now,the g640 is a gamble and it's on par if not worse since the ctl 472 is the same if not better (depends on pen) than the 480 like it's practically the same tablet with a different slimmer and lighter pen that is like a penci. So I'm gonna order that one. Tho does resolution (LPI) matter? the ctl 472 have 2540 and g640 has 5080 . Other than that the 472 is better and thanks for all your help. I've ordered and canceled the order twice already but I think I'm gonna get the ctl-472 .

LPI matters for drawing, but I can't imagine it matters for osu! if it isn't extremely low, and all modern tablets should be good enough in that regard. If it is good enough for detailed drawings it should be more than good enough for clicking circles :)

I've used the CTL-472 and the G430S and I cannot really tell the difference haha! You're going to be happy whether you go for the G640 or the CTL-472. Many top players use both.

Honestly, just get whatever one you think would be more comfortable to use. Don't get hung up on the fine specs.
