Delete any osu.dll.zip or osu.dll.zip_new files you might have in the folder and run the updater again.
I have a similar problem w/ yukari-san.
This is what my problem states about.
I tried to delete osu.dll.zip or os.dll.zip_new files in my osu folder then run the updater but the problem always comeback.
Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Bump - Having the same problem.
Why bump? No really a good fix (there is not even osu.dll.zip_new on my folder), and, this is the only thread I found out.

Disable/uninstall your anti virus and try again.
