[resolved] Osu! bass.dll virus

Problem details: Ok so I was once playing osu normally, then for 3 days i just left. The antivirus i have on my computer had dectected something bad which was rated 90/100 on the virus mark, It said this file of the bass.dll is causing the problem. Please any help can do I want to play osu again and the antivirus is saying is bad.

I assume you downloaded osu! from official sources (this website)? If so then this is a false positive.
If your antivirus quarantined bass.dll, relaunch osu! so it redownloads the file and if it gets detected again as a threat just allow it in your antivirus.

Just to be sure once you allow it please upload it for an online scan with https://www.virustotal.com/gui/

Even my own programs can get flagged as malware by one or two random AVs so this is pretty much a false-positive. The file has known sound related functions and is needed by osu! to run correctly. So theres no actual malware here :)
