Hey, guys! :)
This is actually my first Tutorial & (first Post..) - "How to Record, Render & Convert a Gameplay of OSU!, or other Games".
Since i got some requests, How i'm doing my Videos - i thought, i'll do a little Tutorial for you guys out there. (Just who is interested) :)

First of all - The Video, i made for this - explains everything. (if not - then just feel free to ask)
So i will not write a huge Text in here. ;)

(You should "Pause" at some spots - to read the whole texts!)

(I recommend to watch it on Youtube !)

The little Resolution Window is'nt really good, to see everything.. :D

So..

All what you have to do - is:

-To watch the whole Video
-To read the DESCRIPTION !! XD (i write it with "!!", because there are so much people, who dont do that - and ask most time unnecesary Questions) >_<
-To write a Comment - if it was helpfull for you :P (Actually this Video took me about 6-8 Hours to Edit, without breaks..) ^^;

Mh,.. did i forgot something?
..I think not. o:

PS: My English is'nt the best, so sorry about that .. ^^;
Also you can keep the misspellings.. - i know there are some misspellings in there.. D:

Well, thats it! :)

Let me know, if it was helpfull for you, or there is something unclear. :3

Good Luck & Have fun by creating your Videos! :D

greets,

I'll just point out some "flaws" as I watch this.

First of all, thats some nice pirated software you got there.
2nd, better CPU doesn't directly translate to better FPS, it's more of a gpu dependent thing.
3rd, Windows volume is irrelevant, Fraps records the sound even if its at 0% from windows.
4th, Using Vegas to completely re-encode the video in the middle is pretty much useless as you re-encode it again with RipBot which supports Avisynth input with which you could add fade in and out on the fly as the video is being read by the encoder.
5th, Changing from pure 30fps to 29,976fps is stupid (but hey, vegas sucks at encoding)
6th, we already have tutorials on how to do shit like this.

I don't mean to sound offensive but first of all you should do a little studying about what you're teaching to others and then see if this has already been taught.

Generally speaking, the people who know little speak a lot and the people who know a lot speak little.

If your CPU is bottle necking you then yes. A better CPU would do you the world of good. No point having Quad SLI if you've got a CPU older than the stone age.

Other than that... Agreed

A lot of programs are capable of reading raw files, sony vegas is convenient, but it's not free (which also means shouldn't be advertised just like that) and it's probably not the best solution, especially if you are making a video for youtube.

Ippe sums it up pretty much (should have linked his own thread which I found more helpful tbh xd) though.

Will leave this thread alive for a bit, but I can't predict a bright future.

Yes, but honestly who has a cpu from stone age and quad sli? It's more realistic to have a gpu bottleneck than a cpu bottleneck with osu!

But I did.
