As in the title,I wanna know if there is a limitation on how far can you go by using keyboard+mouse to play osu!. Currently,I can play 3 stars map and I am thinking that is it possible to go further.

I know a 4 digit, he got there with mouse and keyboard, he can FC 6*. Recently i have also seen a stream of "im a fancy lad" and he was a mouse and keyboard player as well. He's top 51. Not to forget FGSky, a true mouse legend, he has a really ordinary mouse but he is top 12 with his unique 4 mod niche. (These aren't the only mouse players, these are some on top of my head)
So as you can see, you can go really far! One day, i want to go far too, with literally one of the cheapest mice, if i don't buy a new one. Let's keep going together, shall we?

You can go as far as probably the top 100+ with keyboard+mouse, before I switched to tablet I could play 4* and occasional 5* maps with a cheap wireless mouse, just remember it only takes time and practice to get better.
And with all the jump maps and farm maps if you can get use to jumping and DT you'll be able to rise in the ranks fairly fast.

Don’t forget the fact that fgsky uses a pillow as a mousepad. I’m not high ranked but I think that setups won’t matter for a long time especially if you are still in 6 or 7 digit.Molly Sandera wrote:

there are few top players use a mouse such as MouseEasy, firebat92, FunOrange, etc.
For me , mouse drift always occur when i play 5*-6* jump maps . But sometimes it depends on how i deal with it . But hey , there is also some player like FlyingTuna that has already reached the top tier level with mouse + kb . So don't lose hope
