How do i talk to BNs?

So as a semi-novice mapper, I would like to finally conclude my beatmap, but how can i make a BN actually take a look at it? They seem like busy people, and I can't really find their modding queues (because closed or out of date). Do I just PM them or make out with them (like a dinner or something ;))? Are there any other queues, that I'm not aware of? I don't want to make my messages sound like begging, so what's the most polite way to make them consider looking at your beatmap?

I also hope it's not an anxiety.

the easiest way to ask bns to check ur map is to pm them saying "hi can you check my map" and then link it and if they say no just say ok thanks and dont pester them

A bit late but I find that one has better luck if you take into consideration what songs/artists/genres they like

this is pretty much /thread (alongside with the addition of targeting your requests basing on tastes that was also mentioned), but that being said different BNs might prefer different methods and if someone only takes requests with some other means PM will get you rejected, or at the very least redirected. Well, you can always check this kind of stuff from their profiles, since if they have preferences like this they will of course be there. Semi-up-to-date list of BNs can be found from Home->Team->Beatmap Nominators in case you (or someone else roaming this thread) didn't know that already

forgot it has sections visible to normal users as well
yes that is probably the most up-to-date listing to use for this
