[resolved] Can't import mp3 file to OSU

Hey all,

I'm having some trouble importing an mp3 file into osu to work on a beat map. It keeps coming up with the same error "Unable to move file (file name). It is probably in use by another application". Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is the file you are trying to import open in a different application? Have you tried restarting your computer?

Yes to both, I tried with a different mp3 file of the same song name and it worked fine. Only problem with the other mp3 file is that there is a section at the end of the song that I wanted removed so I used a different song.

Can you upload the mp3 that is not working somewhere and provide a download to it?

Thanks for the help, I still have no idea what was happening with that specific file but I got a seperate mp3 from a different source and it worked fine. Looked to be the file that was the problem not Osu. If I come across the issue again I'll let you know but for now I believe it was just a corrupted file.
