Hello. I'm using Streamlabs obs to stream osu. When I'm trying to stream osu, it will bring lag spikes frequently and the fps will drop down to around 60. When I'm not streaming, osu works fine. I tried what I can do, but no matter what, there are still lag spikes and degraded performance.

I've tried to restart my computer
I tried to see if there was an update for osu
Made sure there weren't any other apps running
Made sure there were no background apps
Looked at your wiki: https://osu.ppy.sh/help/wiki/Guides/Live_Streaming_osu%21
And nothing does not work.

Help.

Info that might be useful:
Windows 10
osu! version: Stable 20200304.1 (latest)
Nvidia GEFORCE
Intel CORE i7 8th Gen

Greetings, it is normal for that to happen. When you are streaming, your streaming program uses lot's of resources in order to run. You are constantly recording and uploading when you stream, that takes a lot of power. You might want to check your stream settings and tinker around with it. My recommendation when it comes to streaming osu! is that you set your bitrate around 3000-6000, I would say that 4500 is more than enough for a good quality stream. Also make sure your setting for rate control is set to CBR.

I put my bitrate into 2500. Tested it, and still, there are lag spikes and fps still is around 60.

Try change your encoder from x264 to Nvenc, Or if you are using Nvenc already change it to x264? Report back to me after you have tested that!

In streamlabs, I can only do x264 or QSV. Which both of them still haven't solved my problem.

What's your videocard again? "Nvidia GEFORCE" don't give anything, it's just a driver for Nvidia videocards.
