Did the replays random disappear or did you uninstall the game or something? It is possible to get replays back if they just randomly disappeared, because usually the actual replay data itself is still there, it just isn't appearing in game. But if you uninstalled the game and still expect the replays to be there, then they are probably not possible to recover.

Greetings lorte43, what Death (Support team) mentioned above is correct. Just to save time, here is how you can get your replays back if you did not uninstall the game previously. Just find your osu! game folder in file explorer, scroll down to the folder named "Data" and open it to find another folder named "r". It contains all your replays although they are not named after the map or play so it may be difficult finding a specific play.

File Explorer

If at some point in time recently you have uninstalled the game or tampered with the files, chances are, you are unable to recover the files. But hopefully, that isn't the case. Hope I somehow helped!

The above doesn't actually explain how to get them back into the game though, you've just explained where to find them...

If you are implying that they need to load all of the replays back into the game manually, that is extremely time consuming and not really necessary. Deleting the scores.db file in your osu! folder will cause the game to recreate it using the replays in that directory, so you don't need to load everything manually.

My bad, I didn't know about the "deleting scores.db" method. Unfortunately, I was not able to find that method when I searched online and needed to access all my old replays for a "1 Year Progression" video. Finding the replays in the "r" folder was enough for me as I just needed to look at the "date modified" so I can access a play made in a certain month, although I believe I will be using your method next time. Pardon me for my previous comment...

I mean, it's not wrong. You could literally load every single replay in that folder back into the game manually. It's just time consuming, as I said.

i formatted my pc so its gone completely but replays still there when i open them but can't watch them

I don't think you are going to be able to get the replay data back. Unless the score you are trying to watch is in the top 1000 of a ranked/loved map's leaderboard, the replay data is not saved anywhere except locally.

@Faltri and @Death, i tried doing everything, looking at my osu folder through Run, looking at the folder in Winrar, There isnt just any "Data" folder. Has the game been updated or something? Heres my folder of osu! https://ibb.co/Zf2cm0b

Data is a hidden folder.

I hope this post isn't too old to respond too but in order to access hidden folders, in this case the "Data" folder,
When in the Osu! Game folder look at the top left of file explorer and you should see a button dubbed "View"
Once clicked look to the right and you should see 3 checkboxes, the 3rd checkbox says "Hidden items" check that, and you should see the "Data" folder at the top of the list, hope this helped!
