[confirmed] [question] It takes a very long time to download the OSU! Approximately 35 minutes

Problem details:I decided to reinstall the OSU! because the update didn't download and is now taking a very long time to download.

osu! version: Stable 20250309.2 (latest)

Check your internet status first. osu! server status has not issue now.

Im having same issue here, ig it because we both are from russia
Try download osu using vpn

Based on https://status.ppy.sh/ it shows 71k failed connections from russia, i'm trying to ask around on what's the problem but noone is online atm :(

might be due to https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/ but not sure

We're aware of connectivity issues affecting particular geographic locations. There's also a related active cloudflare incident (https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/incidents/rfq3t04ycg9m). For now we're probably going to wait and see if that incident clears up, and explore workarounds if it doesn't (or if it does but things are still broken).
