Combo Scaling When?

Hey, I am anxiously awaiting the combo scaling removal rework. I think it will genuinely improve solo play so much and pp will be such a more accurate marker of how one has improved going forward. However, it has been announced forever ago. Does anyone know anything or has a rough estimation of when this change will finally come around?

There are no estimates and if you see any they are most likely invented by someone who has no idea what they're talking about. It will be out when it is ready - we have a bit of a backlog in scoring infrastructure after lazer pp deploy that needs to be dealt with first before we can proceed with any star rating/pp changes. Especially this one in particular, since the "combo scaling" thing severely impacts stable too.

If you want to follow along then https://github.com/ppy/osu-infrastructure/issues/30 roughly details all of the work that needs to be done, although the chance is very high that it will just all be word salad to you that makes no sense.
