Day 4.

Experimentation on this one. Horribad

I was trying out some stuff and ended up failing the pic that was supposed to be in the upper right.

Upper-left: Hyper Saitama Force. I'm sorry, I Just had to do it. Lol.
Down: It's supposed to be Tenyou using Hailstorm but I kind of sucked out and failed a lot of the details here.

I don't like this page in general <_< I still wanted to do Ryougen with some Magneto pose though.

Now for the next one

Tried much more stuff here

Kind of obvious why I thought of suddenly switching to something like this.

I kind of liked the outcome of these so... yeah.

Upper-left: 'I hate circles' exhibit A. Her head looks horribad. Aside from that, everything looks OK in my eyes. I think.
Upper-right: I tried drawing the unnamed kid in his original pose with the same concept...
Bottom: it was just now I realized how similar their faces are, for some reason.



Oh man, in a span of 4 days...

It's becoming challenging for me to be typing it in the PoV of a tsundere... The only experience I have with tsundere PoVs is when I was reading Hanabira orzzzzzzzzzz

Not to mention I'm still trying to explain how Shimedore disappeared...

I can vouch for it since I just got my code via email and tried it out. It works. You can go to play-asia if you're feeling insecure about this, but since I heard that they don't email codes, I never bothered to check. Maybe they changed their policy about this now.

To add credits to your account, you go to Account Management, then choose "コード番号の入力"(second option). Then you simply input the code you get there, and that's it.

It doesn't make any sense, though for some reason I actually like it.

And, after looking at the stream again, I think I just figured out why they were laughing at the standing don-chan and why the MCs were swatting it out of camera view whenever the guys on the floor tried to put it back up.

Oh god, I hope I'm wrong. Otherwise, it's a case of CANNOT UNTHINK.

Also we still need to make the forum look more "Taiko" feel, a cup of tea just won't do - - I'm more of a programmer type than a art type so I cannot do that.

Upper Left : Always drawing Mataima first, for some reason.
Upper Right: I wanted to start drawing Tenyou holding Heaven's Cloud... but then I encountered a lot of problems. First, IDK how katanas are drawn. Second, I have no idea how to do the cape proportions when it's flipped back.
Lower Left: I'll explain later.

Yep, everything in my 16GB USB Flash Drive. Gone. Last backup was 2 months ago... and worse of all there are some school files that I did in the middle of school and thus didn't have backups yet.

The trial versions of recovery softwares state that some of the files i Need are still there... but these programs are troll in that they only allow me to view the files in the trial version.... to recover them, I Need to pay. Bitchasses. D:

Slow news week on the Taiko front so yeah :P I'm in the process of saving up for a PSP, but then that's pretty much it. Zekira teach me how to use it sometime :3

EDIT: Can someone rip the sprites for the game modifiers (x2, x3 speed, etc)? It's for Taiko Time.

Day 6...

I am not telling that bunny's name until I can make a proper pic of her tied up to a rock by the seashore!

Upper-left: Just me with my first drawing using 4B lead, lol. Classmate gave me the 4B so I just tried it out... and IT'S INSANELY DARK. Well I just bought myself a 2B recently, so I'll probably switch later, I guess.
Upper-right: failed attempt.
Lower-right: side view attempt... having problems deciding what 'sacrificial clothing' I should give her... obviously it's a gown of sorts but I have no idea how to draw stuff like that!
Lower-left: slanted view this time. This time I tried tying her hands and feet with ropes... which I kind of can't get too. I'm still flustered at how I'll also show that the gown is longer than usual so that she actually looks like she's kneeling down. Ugh. How do you do this thing?! I need examples...
Lower: Front view, with all of her exterior parts chained this time. I want the gown to be longer on the backside, but it ended up looking like a cape instead... I think I'm lacking curves on the bottom side here... I don't know yet.

Don't have any intentions to draw her in normal poses until I can get this signature pose of her correctly...! Gowns are hard like crap :<

There's a couple of arcades here in HK with AC14,but IMO
Namco Wonder Park is a good choice :3 (prices are reasonable
compared with other arcades here,no smoke,well-maintained and safe…)

Actually I was thinking about the reference to Princess Andromeda http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andromeda_%28mythology%29

You can even read up that short vague chapter I wrote some pages ago with the 6 characters; I briefly described Nagisa there with this reference in mind. EDIT: Reading it right now there are some words there I worded wrong. Although yeah I did the intended mixup of Nagisa being able to take down large monsters herself

I didn't actually have the sea monster in mind yet when I made her. However that experience of her being tied up to a rock near the seashore won't be traumatic enough unless a sea monster is involved, so... yeah.

Also, I don't know squat about mythology at all. I just happened to read that part about Andromeda since I was writing that vague chapter from before, and I needed a background for Nagisa lo

An Osu/Taiko skin has had some of the modifiers, so yeah. Got Sudden Death, Baizoku, Sanbai, Hidden and Auto so far...

@Zekira: do you have/know a method to play/add download songs on PSP DX without the Internet connection?

Since the 3DS is getting that massive pricedrop I think, at a stretch, that I can afford both now :D Yep, the one I'm looking at is already cracked, so yep, need your advice when I do get it.

@Lokamp: Hmm....it's missing Sanbai, Yonbai and Abekobe ('hayai' is unusable unfortunately). anongos, can you help?

Maybe you can check Taikofinder?IDK if it's up to date,
but it is still useful for finding taiko cabs here

PSP: RM600
3DS post-pricedrop: RM650-700 approx.

Total: RM1250

That's barely more expensive than my Wii, of course I can get both :P Of course, it also involves monstrous amounts of money-scrounging and a part-time job (of course I'm studying now, but I had a part-time stint once)

OK that probably explains it then.

I currently have around 8000 PHP right now saved from 4 months worth of allowance (I only get 1600PHP a week orz)... 170USD = around 7000PHP. Assuming that the usual markups and tax shit apply properly, I'm estimating that 3DS will be around 9000PHP when it gets the price drop here. Assuming that I also get my allowance soon from the office I worked for (for OJT) last summer, I'll have around 12500PHP, which is around 2000PHP away from a PS3... I don't know what to do; I'm pretty sure that the Pokemon games are inevitably going to be in the 3DS in the next year or 2, so I kind of want to allocate the money for that (and by that time the 3DS will probably have an even lower price)... but I also wanna get a PS3 before UMvC3 comes out...
Unless I sacrifice my lunch money everyday, I'm not gonna get that much shit out of my allowance oTL
