also, don't worry about me!! this isn't based off personal experience, just a backstory i came up with :p (also jeez this is a wall of text (;o o))
dave's view of the story
dave: "when i met the two, expunged was 7, bandu was 3, so it's been 10 years. since the fateful day they came into bambi and i's lives. the first thing i saw was a scared little boy, with a baby in his lap, as he was tending to his and the baby's wounds. i knew they wouldn't have been safe out in the open like that, so i took them in. as the years passed by, expunged started being more open and honest about how they feel, while bandu was honest ever since he learned how to speak. and... that's why we are where we are now. that's all i can remember, as my memories of that day are quite hazy from how long ago it was..."
expunged: "it'll take a while to read, but then you'll know why haywood and cornwall adopted us :>"

I'll read it more thoroughly tomorrow. I will say though, that's certainly a rather sad story, glad it has a happy ending though.

Typing: Dang it, I made a mistake.

It would certainly be a calmer life. That being said, I don't think I would give mine up forever for anything!

bambi: "yeah, bandu's right. there's no need to be nervous or scared. just eat if you feel like you have to. if you don't want your food, i'm sure bandu will eat it. i know you'll drink your boba tea, though."
*expunged sits there silently for a brief moment. then scoots their food toward bandu, of which wasn't much*
expunged: "you can have it"

*bandu gets cut off by expunged covering his mouth. expunged looks at bandu, and stays silent for a second. before they say something*
expunged: "just take the burger kid. i don't think my stomach can handle it right now"
