Well, not much else in terms of lego engineering, but I also made a stand for my phone while recording videos, I think that's also pretty cool.

A tactile switch has an audible bump you can hear and feel while pressing the key.
A clicky switch is like a tactile switch taken to the next level - in addition to a bump, it also makes a loud click when pressed thanks to extra stuff in it.
A linear switch is smooth all the way down. It's the quietest type.

Good, it's a hotswap board. Try to put one of your working switches where there isn't a switch, and see if that button works.
