We’re glad to know that you kept on supporting Timezone and have been your favorite arcade for 13 years now. Thank you for your feedback on the arcade rhythm games. Please be informed that we did try the Beatmania IIDX series when it first came out and got very disappointing revenue results from it after we invested over P700,000 for the first test unit. Many years back we also tested an older version of Pop N Music and likewise got just a little over P1,000 per week on the machine and hence our reluctance to try any more units. Moreover, our other regional Timezone outlets (Timezone in other countries) likewise did not do too well with their own Pop N Music units. As you mentioned, we had also tried Taiko Tatsijin and likewise got disappointing results from it. We would love to try Jubeat but the game is unfortunately very expensive and not practical for us to buy at the moment. Other countries are able to charge $2 to $3 per game for such machines and hence they are able to make good returns from their units while we are constrained to just charge $0.50 to $0.70 for our units and hence the economics are not the same.



As for your comments on machine maintenance, this has been noted and has been forwarded to our technical team.

I wonder what's constraining them to charge that small per game, really? Since they started the trend of having the price of one game that low A LOT OF YEARS AGO, it's now going to be shittingly hard to try and increase the prices on the games! I seriously don't mind if they raise the prices... except for the fact that the norm of the prices per game is just insanely low here >_>
