Game Details!

Once upon a time, There was a little town named, Townland. People lived harmoniously, Midnight deaths are common in this little town. It was a common occurence to find out that your best friend got sliced in to pieces last night, or for your brother to go missing the next day. The citizens of Townland have decided to bring justice to the town with an old fashioned lynch mob, choosing democratically whoever they determined to be the criminal. With this, citizens of Townland had lived happily ever after.

But one day, A young woman named Amu Hinamori, while operating the Townland mill, was enlightened by a thought, a she foresaw a society where everyone's free to do what they want. Their roles aren't decided by the society, but instead decided by themselves. She was fascinated by this idea, a philosophy she now call ObjectiPyPivism. After her enlightenment she wrote a fanfiction named "My Immortal Shrugged" based on ObjectiPyPivism, which became a instant hit worldwide, breaking the record of Justin Bieber's "Baby" in the top hit charts. Everyone was captivated by Amu Hinamori's fanfiction. Amu Hinamori gained fame, from being a mere miller in Townland to an instant celebrity.

Because of Amu Hinamori's award winning fanfiction, The old shackles of society was rebuilt from stratch to embrace Amu Hinamori's philosophy. Everyone can now choose what they want to do. Be a fireman, be a doctor, or be a Huge Mecha with laser vision powers. Everyone rejoiced the idea of ObjectiPyPivism. Everyone was free.

Or so they think.

Welcome to Townland. 1958 A.D. A year after Amu Hinamori published her award winning fanfiction. Townland has changed dramatically. Everyone can choose their own path to take in their life. It's a truly democratic dream! However, not everyone will choose the right path to take. Will the world be truly free? Or will the world succumb in chaos?

Basically you send the mod a PM with any character you want to be. The mod then assigns your role based on who you picked.
(e.g. Picking "Darth Vader" would maybe make you end up as a scum role. Likewise picking "Luke Skywalker" would probably get you a town role. Picking "Jar Jar Binks" would make you likely get a Jester role.)

Edit: Finally scrapping the blue text. Well maybe not that much.

Note the parentheses though. Last time in a PYP I was "Ample time to write a proper letter" and ended up townie with a typing quirk

Welcome to Townland.

It's early dawn. The sounds or pigeons chirping and pooting can be heard all around the park. A handful of people gathered around the park in this dark hour. At a glance they look like a normal crowd, but if you look closely, They are a fairly assorted group. Some of them are fat, some are short, some are lean. But nonetheless for the looks of it, they are equally mean.

Going closer, you can overhear their chatter:

"I can grant you any wish, any wish. And in turn..."

"... Give us the power to turn humans into Hard Rocks."

"I don't think I can grant the wish ... "

"... I find your lack of consistency disturbing."

"Me too, I'll kill you and you will die!"

" I have over 9000 bodies, you will never be able to send me into another dimension!"

"You are already dead desu yo!"

"Objection! Hold It! You bet, Kid!"

Soon, everyone from the crowd babbled and shouted in full volume. The conversation became too loud to understand.

After some time, the sun rose above the beautiful rose garden, amid the park. The city scape was bathed with sunlight, but the chattery crowd was no where to be seen. Strangely, there were no other exits in which they could escape unnoticed! The park was a closed open area...

Day 1 has officially started. You can now start FoSing, voting and whatever.

There are 17 players, And 9 to lynch.
