The rest of SE Asia are no different either. It's all Sony land. Tough to be one of the only Nintendo fans around here.

I know what I want there already, but it's just not out yet. Megaman Legends 3, Layton vs Ace Attorney, Zelda OoT, Mario Kart, Kid Icarus, Dragon Quest Slime Morimori 3, BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2.

EDIT: Oh yeah launch day Street Fighter too. Can't forget that.

All I have is an NDSL (not the DSi or 3DS)
and a Wii which I hardly ever get a chance to play.

I think I can work out a simple template from those cards. And it seems like you could also get away with replicating quite a few of those through the use of in-game sprites and official artwork.

Hmmmm..... I'll do it.

Well, I was thinking of using an emulator and going frame-by-frame and capturing things from there, but there has to be a better and less time-consuming method. Also, doing things that way would probably result in the same quality as the picture I used. I need something that's vectorized. (Then again, since this is a business card, that picture would actually be a lot smaller IRL. Making it much less low-quality looking. The actual canvas size of the file is only 3.75x2.25 inches, and that includes the bleed area.)

@Zekira: If you could, that would be great.

Errr sorta.It's actually based on my online persona,really.
That's why I said Crystal-don looks nothing like the official
outfits.

The headphones!Don with different colous is just a somewhat
toned down version,in case the original design can't be used.
(I can draw her,but cropping it out may be troublesome as I have
to save the image as a JPG)

One .psd file comin' right up.

I did not flatten the image so all the objects/paths should still be editable. Or at least you should still be able to change the fill.
Still thinking of changing the logo and the Taiko Team seal, though. Manual vectorization is a bitch.

I don't see why people like working with rasters. Personally, as long as it's not photo editing, I always work with vectors. Hence, I almost never open Photoshop. lol

My pics usually have a thick stroke around them, so rasters almost always look freaking awful with those. I prefer vectoring. Of course, since Photoshop is the only software I have, I do my vectoring there.

I don't really bother,since SAI's lines are already
smooth to begin with.
Moreover,I don't think I know how to vector anyways.

aquabluu: Please don't refer people to me to set up an account on the taiko site. I'll be working on changing its format after my exams are finished (summer holiday).

I'll maintain the authentic map selection and admin accounts, but guest maps will no longer be included as it is too much effort to maintain user accounts on that level. Thank you.

That hugeass screen IS a touchscreen! And with a perfect 4-button layout Taiko would definitely work well here :D

Not to mention the console is backwards compatible with all Wii controllers, so Tatacons can also be used!

So... the controller IS what they were referring to as Wii U? It seemed like it connected to a regular Wii.

To me it looks like Nintendo's take on PS3 to PSP remote play. But this one actually DOES something, and I like all the things that they are saying it has. Remote play in my opinion is just redundant and useless.

Wii U is a funny name though. It would've been fine with me if they said something like Wii Cafe or whatever. Now excuse me while I go rent a U-Haul truck.

The console does look like a regular Wii, but it's completely different. The controller is still just a controller and not the console itself :P

I cracked my Wii's region lock though so I can still use it for stuff.

Oh yeah you guys didn't catch the conference right? This was the graphics demo for Wii U. It's not pre-rendered, meaning actual gameplay could look like this.

Okay, I have a confession:

I don't really care about E3 lol, I just take info that I'm interested in

...but people must have figured that out by now as I indirectly already said that I'm a closed-door gamer lol

Just hoping that the controller is sturdy enough...

...and that it's architecture is in such a way that it's not as hand fucking as the PSP-2000 (the measurements are so poorly thought up that you can't even press the L and R buttons without hurting yourself eventually). Actually I also even have a hard time handling the DS Lite for games with rapid-pressing; it may just probably be me getting used to a controller being lightweight...

Lol, E3 is like Christmas Eve, waiting for new surprising announcements is like crack :P

I actually borrowed a PSP-2000 from my friend to play God of War: Chains of Olympus before. My thumb was on the analog nub and index on the L button. After half an hour with the game I had piercing pain between the fingers of my hand. Looks like it wasn't just me :/

The Wii U controller looks heavy, and probably is heavy.

Since there's a screen on the controller I'm betting that the motherboard on it is going to be almost as heavy as the PSP's or something, so... bah

Well, GoW is a button-demanding game, right? If you actually play GoW on something like a PS2/PS3 controller you'll notice the HUEG difference solely in weight alone. My hands still sore like shit when I try to play PnM, or when doing songs like Kita Sai on the PSP :/

Considering the shit-ton of notes in PnM and taiko,
I'm not surprised (Heck,some of the toughest songs
in PnM *coughOngakucough* are said to be tougher
than boss songs from IIDX.That's definitely something)

You have to consider that you have to you your entire hands for PnM and actually have 9 buttons to traverse... much wider than an IIDX controller. The IIDX machine is huge enough to support 2 controllers though

Left and Circle = White
Down and X = Green
Up and Triangle = Blue
L and R (the most shittingly annoying buttons to hit) = yellow
Right and Square = Red (same Red since it's only one button)

That's the default setup.

Oh yeah which reminds me that I have to upload a few PnM gameplay vids here because I just cleared a 37-star chart with flying colors yet I can't pass 35s, lol...

Arcade > every other input, don't even try

Biggest consequences of getting used to the PSP first:

1.) You will never know how to hit same side green and blue at the same time
2.) You might get used to hitting same side white and blue with one hand

Well there's always touchscreen input, which is 486362312348 times better than using Wii U's buttons. You know what? Touchscreen controls for PSVita too. That'll overcome the weight, I think.

It's a licensed song though, original from Chatamonchy. This only appeared in the PSP so far, which might explain its extremely PSP-friendly chart...
