I, nootnoot6989, believe that Friday Night Funkin’ charters/mod creators have a right to upload their work onto this game, but one problem is that some people might’ve already uploaded their charts and are getting all the attention instead of the original work.

These reuploaded packs should be banned if there is a offical pack on the this website (unless the pack is a complete rechart.)

The ban should not be applied to offical packs, offical charts, and recharts.

this is stupid

If the original modders want the reuploads to be deleted than they can just contact the reuploader and/or report it themselves. otherwise not really a reason to add that much security. This has already happened a ton with the ffr/stepmania community so not much is likely gonna happen

As a last resort they can just send a DMCA request with proof that the content belongs to them. This has happened before, and it is applicable to all categories (graveyarded, pending, etc.) instead of just those with leaderboards.

However, the need (and desire) to resort to such a drastic measure only happens in exceptionally rare instances. It's really not something that should be worried about too much imo.

It sucks, but it is what it is
