So here's what I get about the plot so far:
Ryougen leaves the village to search for Senpuu,who has gone
missing for a long time.Kiluna joins his party,and they
started collecting the pieces of Senpuu's compass after
fighting Saitama.
The rest of the pieces are in the hands of the other niisens,
save Joubutsu,Kidaruma and Shimedore.That means they
need to defeat the 12 niisens before they can complete
the compass,which shows the way into Joubutsu's barrier.
As it turns out,it's Joubutsu's Xanatos Gambit.She's the one who kidnapped Senpuu at the first place,to
lure Ryougen into her barrier,and to use him to harvest the energies of the niisens in order to power
up that hueg ass incinerator.Jou plans to use it to destroy the world,
in a bid to escape from her role as Death.The powers of the niisens isn't enough
though,the last sacrifice needed was Ryougen himself.
However,for some reason (a spanner in the works?The Sannangorokushi thing?Or something else?IDK)
the incinerator self-destructs before Jou can kill Ryougen,releasing the energy gathered up inside it all
in one go and foiling Jou's plans.Jou was gone too,turning into a grief
seed and leaving Manka in place of her.
It isn't time to celebrate though,Shimedore drops in,taking all of that released energy for itself
and attempts to use it to get to the mortal world and reshape it into the dark world
it wants.Inb4 Kibou shows up and has an epic standoff with it.
