All monitors in the college are native 1280 but they decide not to use it...

The program i use for the cute text is based on a free software called rainmeter - http://rainmeter.net/RainCMS/

and there is like a 'plugin' called Simplesetence2

It requires a fair amount of customization so play with it till you get what you want.
