I never got this before the updates so that's why I suspect it's the problem. Charts show CPU, RAM, Disk usage as normal, btw.
Could you please list your system specs; mainly CPU, graphics, operating system and audio.

b1801 is up with most bugs fixes. Editor memory usage is not yet fixed, but I am working on that next. I decided to put this bugfix release up as soon as possible to address the more serious issues.

osu! in-game: searching names in search filter doesn't overwrite friends only anymore

'sup. After today's bug fixin' Osu! doesn't want to run and smth like that occurs:
System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Void System.Runtime.GCSettings.set_LatencyMode(System.Runtime.GCLatencyMode)'.

Does this happen at startup, or when you try to play?

I cant run the game too~and I also have this bug after startup the game ? So what can i do>_<

Is it just me, or do my ranks not go up nor down? (Total rank)

I've been 4334 since the update now...
and my sister hasnt been moving at all with her rank either. Just wondering.

Do you get any errors? Does the ranking dialog appear? Does your profile update? Are you running the latest build (check in options at top-right corner; should be 1802).

I'm using a custom cursortrail and no cursor so it uses the default one, the behavior kinda changed since b1800. It seems the trail stays on screen longer and is brighter during movement...

Oh wait it isn't appearing when my cursor doesn't move, that's what changed I think.
Using template cursor fixed it, it seems the transparency or something on the new cursor changed. Oh well i liked the new default cursor ;(

Yep it says 1802.

I dont get any errors, and my profile does not update. It doesnt add my scores, give me exp, change my rank up or down, doesnt mess with my accuracy either. The same with my sisters account.

*edit*
I just noticed my webpage rank is different now than the one in game... 4328. It updated but it seems like its way far behind...

When I press F2 and I choose a sort options (Filters one) while still choosing for the random song I get osu! crashed. Im up to date with the version.

...W-Wait what...? So.. you changed the cursor back to what it was before right? I really liked the new one (with the + and the different cursortrail behaviour). I'm not sure what your plans for the cursor are, but I think if you made it changeable via the skin.ini file like the way MMsliders are, then that would be really nice.

Ok... now my problem has gone from unplayed maps, to maps I have played successfully already as well. I have re-downloaded the map(s) and they are not in any nested folders within the song folder.

I don't even understand what is going on here. Posting such screenshots mean nothing. Please:

a) create a thread in the support forum.
b) post exactly what you see before the screenshot.
c) steps to replicate if possible.

Its the map's cursor. Go to Options/Skins, and mark this option: http://puu.sh/1orT

Or delete it from the folder

You have to click Fullscreen Mode first, and then choose your Screen Resolution :lol:

Probably because 1280xX or Xx960 are your desktop resolutions? In which case you shouldn't be using that as a window resolution.

It seems like I can't install maps with special characters in the map's
information.Like song names,artist names...stuff like that.

It shows an error like this:


It's not shown here,but the artist name has a star next to it.

Filenames with special characters aren't supported (and never have been?).

maps with filenames containing special characters do work.

Download the osz, rename to zip, extract files to a folder, manually place this in your songs folder, hit F5, and it should come up.

There do exist a few ranked maps which got through before osu enforced special character restrictions on filenames.
