At least I think some high OD maps are harder to hit than AC Taiko lol (I should hit taiko with big stick with great strengh, so it reduce accuracy significantly. Still I can always FC some maps in AC while sometimes I got missed in osu by mistimed hitting lol)

About poor maps, well, maybe I'm someone to be blamed lol

EDIT: OD5 is definitely easier than AC acc., but still I think it's WAY too merciful. 6 and 7 are moderately easier. 8 is probably already going too far (even though I still stick to it)

Seems opinions are quite different by players, actually. I think they don't know accuracy is different by maps.

1、视野不同，osutaiko视野比本家的小，所以看起来很别扭
2、判定不同，osutaiko的判定是做谱人在EDIT里设置的，所以跟本家判定不同，基本上是比本家松很多
3、配点方式不同，osutaiko固定配点300/80，也就是任何曲子打到100连以后非GGT都是一个良1100分
4、黄条和气球问题，osutaiko没有气球，取而代之的是DS的破浪鼓，而黄条不能搓，只能按照黄条上面的点有节奏的打
5、大饼判定问题，不知什么原因，osutaiko里大饼判定非常难，经常是大饼小打

orz, I noticed that the background templates I package contain font sizes that get cut off when playing taiko due to the taiko bar images.

To fix this, I updated the background template and added some special extra stuff to make the template easier to use too :D - It should work out fine with osu!-Taiko mode, and the templates should co-operate well with Paint.NET and Adobe Photoshop.

Please read the readme pdf document attached with the archive for some other important information if you may! :)

Oh and aquabluu, I hope you don't mind to update the first post with the updated templates :P

Actually I think Taiko no Tatsuijn is relativly easy to get 可 while osu Taiko is easy to get 良 (and easy to get missed whith high OD.)

EDIT:
and one more thing I feel is, Taiko players from East Asian countries avoid to play osu Taiko cause it's just different from Taiko no Tatsujin. They usually start Taiko with Taiko no Tatsuijn so maybe that's why.

Uh,has anyone watched this kind of video before?
It showcases songs in a certain difficulty (1-7,8-10,10 only…)
and provides basic info (BPM,number of notes,first appearance…)
as well as some comments on the song,chart and other stuff

Naturally,there's also quite a lot of BEMANI terms and in-jokes,

I don't know if I've said it here before, but in the third week of May, me and my family are going to Singapore for 4 days. And along with it, my parents are also considering going to Malaysia in any of those days. We actually don't have a laid out plan yet, but obviously I know what I wanna do with my free time: bring my aluminum drumsticks to the trip, and hunt down the Taiko machines that are in either country.

Of course, I can't do that unless I know where to look for them. So far the only detail we know is that the hotel we'll be staying in Singapore is in Novena Square. We don't have a set destination for Malaysia yet, so my parents are still open for suggestions... just that I don't know anything about where and what.

If anyone can list down some locations where I can find some Taiko ACs, that'd be pretty awesome.

And... I can't imagine my reaction when I actually get to one... God, my heart's already racing even though it's still 2 months away

Depends on which part of Malaysia you're coming to. The only AC 12.5 is in the first floor of Mid Valley Megamall, on Lingkaran Syed Putra right on the edge of Kuala Lumpur city. The capital city. Just ask any taxi within five miles of Mid Valley and they should take you there. I've already had flyboy unlock all the songs there and my high scores are denoted with 'ぴかびー' (whyyy does the AC not allow katakana orz)

Speaking of the arcade....I set a personal high score today. That's me on the left.

(What do I mean? International flights except Seoul-Tokyo or Seoul-Beijing go to Incheon International Airport lol)

Oh it's because some butthurt copyright claiming company called the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) I-Don't-Like-It-When-People-Upload-Files-With-Celebrity-Names Corporation removes any file or contents that contains music made by popular celebrities or stuff like that.

I guess Lady Gaga is covered by the IFPI too, and I suppose they don't care of the fact that the extension is an .osz; they just look for the file name in front of the extension. If I were to name the file something ridiculous like TheMusicVideoForThisSongIsAbsolutelyDemented.mp3, they would've probably avoid it.

tl;dr: The DMCA is forever evil.

Oh, and I guess I wasn't necessarily the only MediaFire user who got their files removed.

Seeing as how Joubutsu is still technically after Shimedore because Wii3 was released later, would it still be considered the last 2000? Hmmm....

I hope that Shimedore would not be uploaded on BSS unless other 2000 series(Except Kita200 and Jyoubutsu2000) would be ranked/approved ;_;

I've heard that Shimedore has a total of 1414 combo.
It's over 9000 1000.
That means it broke the 999 limit.

THAT OVER THE LIMIT THING WASN'T ONLY A GFDM REFERENCE.
A SONG IN AC14 DID GO OVER THE LIMIT.

@Zekira I support Shimedore being the true Big Bad,not Joubutsu.
Shimedore will be a shape-shifter (think Hatena) able to channel and use
the powers of all of the niisens except for Joubutsu.
Shimedore used to stay in the spiritual world commanding Joubutsu to do its bidding,
but after Joubutsu was defeated,it decided to take on Ryougen and the gang itself.
(figures Shimedore should be a genderless entity)

@crystalsuicune: ...do I suck if I already knew about Shimedore beforehand? I mean, I already had Shimedore planned on Chapter EX...

Anyway, MP3. NOW. WE NEED.

@arken: I don't care if not all of the 2000 songs haven't been ranked, I'm mapping that.

(I still haven't finished my Soroban2000 SB though...)
