How do you get nomination for your map?

So iv'e been mapping lately and I got my map to 5 hypes but when I sent my song as pending, on the bottom of the hype it said "nominations". So iv'e just been wondering how one person get nomination for their beatmap.

Ask BN (Beatmap Nominator) through PM or Modding Queue, tho they will mostly avoid your request (due to being busy - they're still human - or having too much request, etc.) but you should try your luck sometimes
