Report your bugs from the test build in here. I'm sick of people saying they reported something which I never heard of.

Playing MP on public bancho results in disconnection from bancho when the beatmap starts

When SuddenDeath is on, if the first beat is a slider and you fail to click it with the right timing, it may happen that health bar goes to 0 without making the user fail.
You can also continue the game.

sometimes on the editor , when you place a slider it suddenly disappears leaving just a nod , you still can see it at time line and hear it

inherit timing doesnt work here.. always disabled.

something is wrong when using inherit timing again,
whenever i use one for lowering down the volume..
after saving the timing point i placed will be removed..

I don't get the BAT and Direct icons until I leave the title screen (go to song select or something) then return back (Can still use "d" to get to osu!direct tho)

place a timing section > use inherit > OK > ctrl +S > inherited section is gone

is there something i dont know here?
geez osu is getting really complicated now..

Just use public for the moment if it annoys you. I have a longish list of bugs to fix.

Bugs should be fixed now.

SB's still don't start off properly.

It starts off at the image that is shown at 0ms.
Pausing + Resuming continues the SB, Skipping also works.
However, it skips everything before 0ms.

whenever i update a map, it doesnt let me update. it just shows the update button again after updating.

As we all know, you can't play or edit on test build if you're not connected to bancho.

BUT - If you open an .osz file, it will take you into song select where you can then play. And the same goes for dragging an mp3 file into the window... it takes you into edit mode song select, where you can edit any map.

my one is can work but only thing is wrong is the picture of the main OSU is small and i saw is only apear is like a off and on and off over and over

Found a bug with slider ticks: (i'll just copy-paste what i had typed up for a PM)

All the top scores are actual Full Combos, but the numbers are different. I found out that the slider at 00:24:92 (8) has 2 ticks on Test build and 1 tick on public build. I remember it only having 1 tick when i was mapping it though, since with the 2 ticks it sounds weird. It seems as if the bug lies with the tick rate itself, since a tick rate of 1 also has 2 ticks on that slider. The ticks just seem to move when i switch back and forth from 1 to .5, instead of halving the number of ticks.

That is quite likely, yes. Play with public for the time being.

I don't really know if it's intentional, anyway...
When you choose to spectate someone who doesn't have the map you're playing and then you watch another map with auto, osu! may swith you to the previous user you choose to spectate if he chhoses to play a map you have.

In other words, osu! doesn't stop spectating a player when you choose autoplay as a mod.

In editor, if you have chat up, none of the chat buttons/tabs work at all. It is still possible to type in chat, and editor buttons still work.

EDIT: hold up, i've gotten them to work in 800x600. In 1024x768, the actual button locations are lower than the buttons appear.

When clicking a link to minimize osu from fullscreen, osu will try to stay the active window. Meaning i have to click the window i want to work with about 10-15 times before i can work with it.

Closing the chat window in osu will sometimes clear the search bar at song select.

Undo-ing an action in the editor when a BG image is used that does not take up the entire screen will cause the black behind the image to disappear, showing the selected skin's playfield.png instead. Examples: Battle Frontier (ranked), Theme of Sakura (Unranked)

Kiai Mode is currently broken. All notes in kiai mode all completely white(making taiko mode incredibly hard to play, as you can't see red/blue) (i actually only tested this once.)
EDIT: new bug.

If you play in osu! mode, then play a taiko specific song, osu automatically changes to taiko. The scoreboards, however, do not.

Search function at song select is now broken.

During Kiai time in Taiko, (i'm not entirely certain about this, but) it seems that the glowing effect doesn't end at the hit area. Visually it just looks as though a note passed through.

Added 1.2x score adjustment during kiai time (taiko only).
I think the score at the top right should reflect this. Meaning on the map i'm working on, i can get up to 1100 per note. After Kiai time starts, it still says 1100 per note, instead of 1320.

Clicking on a song to bring up osu!direct side panel in MP will play the preview, but will also play the currently selected song as well.

I don't think this is a bug. As always, I never look at the original game while making osu!. The effects may differ slightly. I personally like the flashing beats so they will likely stay. I'll see what I can do about the other crap.

It does. If its not displaying it then you aren't getting it (yes there is a reason for this at my end).

It's affecting the in the same manner, here. When you go to type something in while at the song select screen, nothing happens; the "Search: type to begin!" tidbit isn't responding.

"Kat" sound doesn't play in Taiko mode when playing a map that use custom sample sounds (like my Saitama2000 and Noriwaki Iwadare - Pursuit ~ Caught). It uses Normal whistle sound instead.

And the combo burst sound doesn't reset when a player breaks a combo. Like, I missed a note at 230 combo. When I get to 50 combo again, I heard "Sambyakku combo" instead of "Goju combo".

Alignment problems

Since i suck at describing thing, i'll use pictures

Progress bar stops correctly during play, but sometimes, when you hit stop, it'll extend like it does above. EDIT: ninja'd



If that alignment is correct, then ignore the first large circle. The second small circle shows that there is a visible line down the right side of the screen. Combobursts will appear there as well.



Also, Importing a .osz requires a press of f5 to appear.

When a Taiko map using the Taiko skin is tested, the red notes could not be input when testing for the first time (could not press buttons for red notes as it does not register). However, everything returns to normal after first test after retry.

If a map is edited again and is tested for the first time after editing, this happens again.

1. Imported files do not show up until after F5 is pressed. Tested using the newest Gunther ranked file.
2. Using screenies to describe a problem.

If I go into osudirect to click on a link like this...

Then the osudirect link goes haywire if I go back one screen, like this.
