I wouldn't have made the friends that I now have. Though osu! itself was a pretty nice thing to come by, the people i met within this community have indirectly helped me evolve into who I am now. It's been a great help.

Without osu!, I'd be looking for something else to help deal with whatever shit I dealt with a few years ago aside from my music and art, and I'd likely be focus on those a bit more as I'd probably have a hard time finding anything else to do.

I'd also have a harder time talking to people than I already do. I wouldn't have learned of some of these genres either, namely and most importantly Artcore, Breakcore and Speedcore.

In a sense, it's a bit of a coping mechanism, and helped me broaden my perspective in little indirect ways.



What are your thoughts on Breakcore as a genre?

Too often is just mediocre an dissatisfying. Could easily have some good tracks but too often lacks any logic or cohesion.

listening to music as i lay in bed.

as satisfying as producing music can be, it also can potentially be stressful sometimes when i can't get the desired outcome.

but listening to music is always a decent stress reliever for me.

I dont know if anime or even animatics count as movies, but...

the most recent anime i've watched was Denpa Kyoushi.

the most recent animated short film i've seen is "UFO" by SHSK9 Studios.

Well, I can say in terms of personality (even though these 2 don't use Flipaclip, but still do animation memes), Wolfychu and Jordan Sweeto are the worst..

The community is pretty crap. Even though they introduced some people to new songs (e.g Marble Soda), the other part of the community is just some UT shit.

If you had to choose, would you rather be stuck in the Sonic Community or the UT (Undertale) Community?

the Undertale community. I'm somewhat fond of it. the trick is to just be reclusive and not be involved in their shenanigans.

the Sonic community seems alright as well but i dont really know much of it as i never really got into Sonic stuff.

Interesting question, actually. I tend to find that dipping my hands in cold water helps to relieve stress, but otherwise I blow off steam playing a game such as Warframe. However, I find that it's just best for me to dip my hands in cold water and then lie down for 1 or 2 minutes. Honestly, try it.

What are your opinions on the current gaming landscape? Keep in mind that this does include more than just the AAA games so the indie, F2P and generally more obscure markets within the gaming industry do count.

I don't play as large of a pool of games as I used to, but, it's doing good... I think. Perhaps the indie scene isn't thriving as much as a few years ago, besides that I'd say the AAA companies are pushing out some solid/promising games. F2P market seems to still be in motion with the Battle Royale fever, although thats happened countless times in the recent past with HS clones and MOBA madness, so it's nothing new. Happy Nintendo seems to be getting their shit together again.

I don't really have anything about myself I hold in high regard. Though, I would say I'm proud of my abilities and my tendency to look to reason instead of emotion.

Shit. I just had to get ninja'd by Meah's spontaneous 2-second response of narcissism.

Honestly, I just plan on improving at what I do and make more things for people to enjoy. In short, my goal is to create and improve. I might even say it always has been my goal.

love is defined as, by the dictionary, an intense feeling of deep affection. obviously, there are other ways people try to explain this to others, such as "when you like someone", or "you'll know when you know". personally, i tend to think love as when you feel happy doing something you've aspired to do for a long period of time, whether it be several months or years. this feeling could also be shared with someone else, which is what i feel to be the primary definition of almost everyone in the world. doing something you're happy doing with someone you want to do it with. lewd? maybe. but fuck it. this is the internet, goddammit. go find your own definition.

I have, Anime isn't a huge thing, but it is pretty amusing and definitely something i wouldn't mind binge-watching if im bored enough.

Neither. I dont drink soda, for whatever reason. Maybe I'm stupid for saying it, but any sort of "fizzy" drink just irritates my mouth and stomach, and "flat" drinks I just dont think are worth trying. I'd rather not even buy soda at all. I'm more focused on survival, so water is all I'll need. It doesn't cost as much.

Do you value comfort over practicality in the way you live?

I'm not certain, but...

I regret not realizing everything sooner, from the redundancy and to the futility of life. I would've at least started to focus on the things happening around me back then, that my parents had practically been ceaseless in confronting each other. I could've stopped all this before it happened. I'd stop getting distracted on that fucking tank game I had been addicted to and relied upon for a means of escape from life, from reality, and I'd actually be capable of taking control of my life from there.

I'm questionning the current nature of what people call games.
Like, to me, the basic purpose is to have fun in the process (with the appropriate reactions depending on the genre, of course).
But right now, due to a "misfortune" (well, I'll just curse the algorithmic system of some games), the frustration just got heavily thicckker (given that another game gave me the middle finger as intense as it could be).
If such thing didn't happen, I'd clearly be enjoying the next minutes following now...

Pretty good, actually: I have a job now, so I can begin saving for stuff that desperately needs replacing, I can maybe invest into a hobby or two and I can treat my girlfriend and myself plenty. Heck, I'm even getting work experience that can go straight on my CV.
Going back to desperately needing to replace things, I really need to replace my hard drive in particular. I need a laptop for 6th form too which I'll save for, as well as an entirely new PC because the one I'm running now has some ancient specs. As far as hobbies and what-not goes I'm pretty bored with life because I don't have the money to invest in anything yet.

What was your first job (if you've even started working)?

I think my first proper job was in a kindergarten.
Was pretty fun, actually, although I had to get up at 5:40 AM to bike to work. Got coffee and kids who looked forward to me coming, which made it all the more worthwhile. Some of them still want hugs when I see them on the street. I like kids.

What decision do you absolutely not regret making?

Hmm. I've always been proud of my decision to invest in music production. I hope for it to be something I can do long-term and perhaps get a decent form of income out of. Obviously, I'll have to do something else as a job eventually, but for now, I still have about 3 years until I'm able to legally apply for a proper job (excluding my lack of a work permit). So with that in mind, I'd say it'd be best to start early. I may also decide to improve my artistic abilities to do commissions for people as either a secondary or tertiary form of income in the future. My issue there would be that I dont handle work for long periods of time very well, and that I tend to slack off at every opportunity by default. I'm just not really in the mood to work myself to death, it'd partially take the fun out of actually creating things and would probably deter me from keeping it up long-term. But the most stable thing I have is my ability to work with music, so that's what I'll answer with.

At the moment, I would probably think so. Tbf tho, I’m used to not getting money so I pretty much live a frugal life...

...most of the time. When my dad used to give me like a bunch of money ($50-100 each time), I’d still put most of it into savings. Maybe save only a $20 bill each time, for emergency purposes and Pump It Up.
Now, my dad’s job isn’t stable yet (in this case, he might quit that job and end up forced to look for another one), so I’m back to my frugal mode.
Good timing, I guess, considering school for me will start August 14 with 3 AP classes in the mix.

What foreign country would you like to visit one day (besides the one you are living in right now), and why?

Japan, their technologies are absolutely amazing. I also love their stationary as I find them cute and useful. And the Summer Olympics are coming up in Tokyo. I just love Japan.

But then it's the only game I play, that involves playing with the rythm of songs.

I'd probably want to go somewhere where I can make a difference and help the populace. I'm going to Myanmar for 5 weeks sometime early next year, so there's that, but maybe somewhere in Africa.

Although I'd also really like to go to Brussels one day, hopefully in connection to work

I dont really know. I have a hard time remembering certain things from the past, but there were a few fairly shitty moments. I would want to say it'd be that one incident back in elementary school with the back of my arms being skinned down to the point of bleeding, but s for short-term distress, I think it'd be the times I'd overexert myself in P.E., constantly looking for a wall or something to brace on to, shivering, my consciousness wavering slightly, and ready to throw up.

I have a pretty weak body so being really active fucks with my heart and it feels like my lung capacity just cant support the extra activity. That's happened a few times, where the suffering would be drawn out through an hour or two of constant issues, like my limbs going numb, or an aching needle-like pain in each limb, then there's the dizziness and lightheadedness, as well as the need to breathe heavily as I recover, only tempting me further to just hurl all over. Those were the days.



What are your thoughts on apathetic people?

Apathy in certain situations is nice, and allows you to make calm, alalytical and logically sound decisions, which I could certainly need in various scenarios. Apathetic people usually balance out overly emotional or instinctual personalities in that regard, grounding them to reality.

That being said, apathy can be dangerously comfortable, much like depression or anti-social behaviour or your bed in the morning, that when the time comes when you need to react emotionally, it becomes far more difficult to pull off.

A thumb rule of mine is "Everything in moderation"

Another thumb rule of mine is also to "Always stay true to yourself, even if that means not following the norm. The norm is usually more boring anyway."

What do you think the base nature of humans is? Edit: To rephrase, what makes us do what we do when we strip it down to the core?

Hmm. I dont think like this much anymore, so this should be some good exercise for the mind. Well, there's the thought that perhaps we do things out of necessity or for survival. That could be the case, but when we make decisions, more likely than not they're rather complicated as far as tracing the reasoning down to a simple few principles, ambitions, or instincts. We have a sort of reasoning that branches off from a foundation that isn't quite it's own origin point, as that foundation was built on another set of branches or pillars. Like the floors of skyscrapers.

Sometimes someone may do something or decide on something for a moral high-ground, which doesn't seem to exactly correlate with survival, and isn't exactly necessary for said survival. Typically that thought process could be chalked up to the conscience. Our sentience and ability to process how others feel through sympathy and empathy allows that sort of thing where we want to do what's best for a favorable outcome, eventually for all people.

Ehhh I'm not really in the best mood to quite finish this up properly, but I'll probably answer with the statement that we dont exactly have one singular base factor for all we do as a human species, but we probably would mainly favor decisions that help us all survive.

it's a bit hard to explain, I guess the shortest answer would be because of some people who tend to have a really bright future most likely it's because they common goal or interest as I do. I tend to be very persistent towards certain things. another reason would probably be because I tend to act very lethargic sometimes. it's something I can't quite get over. I start to think of possible I could boost my ego as well my personality.

One of the main reasons would be that I'm constantly pushed to a certain extent where
I start working harder towards them. It's what keeps me going.

I cherish them. They're the people I can talk about pretty much anything with, and casually just delve into whatever topic is at hand. Sometimes it wind up in jokes and weird, funny moments, other times in an interesting discussion giving off some insight into certain situations or topics. I can get along with them fairly well. I'm somewhat comfortable around them.

I'd believe I have a moderately sized friend circle, at least, mutually. Probably something from 10 to 25 online friends, and 5 to 10 IRL friends.

People who are nice to me, on the inside. (Whether it’s on the outside does not matter)

I use this definition because I’ve been to a few places, and the “friends” (in a traditional sense) that I make... Well, I tend to lose contact with, and stop talking to them altogether.
This frees me from being to attached to any person, to be honest.


They are mindsets that people use in order to try and “predict” what will happen to them, so they will not have to waste time to think on a case-by-case basis.

What do you think is the biggest problem that the world should focus on?

Climate is a big concern for me. Although I see a lot of good causes to fight for, and a lot I want to change, all that work would be for naught if the climate goes to shit.
It is one of the big issues that we can't rectify if we mess up, because if we go too far, there's no turning back. Thus, it worries me that we pot so little effort into trying to save our planet, and how our own money seemingly has more value than the ecosystems around us. I just hope my children get to see winter and live in a world more progressive and safe than it is now, I guess?

What do you value in a relationship, whether that be with a significant other or friend?

I think that would be trust, being able to trust a friend or my partner makes me feel more comfortable when I'm with them

Noone in particular. If it were purely people who I'd look up to or those who somewhat inspire or fuel me to do things, I would be able to give off a specific list, quite honestly.

But really I just feel indifferent and distant from people, so looking up to someone as an idol just doesn't seem to be part of who I am. I dont really adore anyone.

I mean, I certainly used to be, and would define myself as such today too, in the sense that I would write short stories. They were nice, allowed me to out the ideas in my head onto paper and project them in such a way that not only I could enjoy them, but also others. I wanted my work to evoke emotion, understanding and reflection with the reader.

It certainly made me more aware of my surroundings, and because I would use a lot of metaphors, similes and symbolism, I think it made me analyse things people do and say in normal life too. I'm by no means much good at it, but sometimes, I can ascertain a bit of the reasoning behind an action, or the hidden emotions behind.

Do you believe in a god or omnipotent being? Why/why not?

No, not really. I've lacked the evidence to support it. I haven't come up with a way to justify the idea.

Also, some background information, I used to be a born-in Jehovah's Witness. Luckily, my family wound up fading from the organization. I dont know about my dad, but it seems possible he might believe in some form of god? I'm not entirely sure. I dont mind it if he does, I'd just hope he doesn't flaunt it everywhere.

Anyhow, I used to be a crowd favorite in the congregation, known as the smart kid who could read fluent Spanish despite not quite being able to fully understand it, earning me a couple chances to read over some verses up on the stage thing they have. Little had most of them known, but I wasn't as enthusiastic as they were about the religion. I felt like something was off, and having been in contact of one of the families definitely played a big role, showing how controlling they were, and how uncomfortable I was around that. Life had been pretty rough but the personal one-on-one "bible studies" they gave me were of little interest and nothing added up, and were generally unhelpful.

I did some research at the time and found some pretty distasteful shit about the organization. I'm not really too willing to go into detail about it though.



Would you happen to be argumentative as a person sometimes?
