It's basically a tunnel avoider game, using either a mouse or any pointing device, or if you like a challenge, a keyboard. The level starts off slow then gradually gets faster. (hence the name)
The game itself is a browser game and requires the Unity web player to run.

The Witch's HouseSPOILERA horror game with lots of horror and many ways to die. I won't say much, but if you get the True Ending, there's an amazing twist which I refuse to spoil. Also read the novel, which is a prequel to the game's events.
Here are two others I've played as well.
These two have some similarities with Ib and The Witch's House since they are all RPG Maker games.

I am suprised DirtyBomb wasn't mentioned yet. It's a fantastic class-based Free-to-Play FPS which can be best described as a middleman between Quake and Counter-Strike in it's playstyle. It's also not Pay-to-Win, so everybody (even free players) have a fair chance against the people who buy stuff.
If you are into FPS Games it does not hurt to give it a try, as it's free-to-play anyway.

This. DB is a good game. Except... it's too easy. It might just be my experience in Counter Strike, but objectives and frags are incredibly easy. Almost CoD easy.Kakteenanalyse wrote:

Hawken is a pretty fun to play mech. game that's free on steam.
Plasma Pong was a great game until Atari fucked it up. The only version of it you can find on the web is this, though I still have the original game shall the mods approve to post it.

Rise of a knight/King
Two fantasy adventure games about a knight and his quest to save the princess and the kingdom. Rise of a knight isnt that good but its a nessesary prequel to rise of a king.

TF2 updates just makes the game performance worse with their cosmetics and the recently added weapon skins.

:the game: game and its sequels are some of my all-time favorite games. It's browser-based, no download and free.
The first few games: the objective is simple. You're placed on a grass platform in the middle of the air. Objective? Fall off. Just walk off and die. There are many more things that come up later, and each level is concluded with an ironic and funny pun. Also, a bit bloody, but it's all very fake. However, the final game (Reimagining :the game: game) is so much more revamped and difficult, I'm still trying. No more is the grass platform. There are much more difficult levels, so beware! I highly recommend it, it's so punny and yet a very satisfying game experience.

Warframe is good, completely free to play. The only downside is that it's very targeted to a specific audience. It's basicly a game where the goal is to get everything there is to get in the game. It's basicly all farming. Though they are working on a story. Paid currency can be acquired through trading at relative ease. If you like grindy games defenitely give it a go (:

Loadout, Survarium and War Thunder.
Some 3/4th-dead (a.k.a pretty much abandoned by devs, with barely any community) games I can recommend that could be played in a group are Archeblade and GunZ 2: The Second Duel. They're both on Steam, appearance-wise you can pretty much get most customization items with the in-game currency.

Wakfu's a pretty good one. An MMORPG with Turn-based strategy. Art design's 'interesting' in the sprite sense. It's either Wakfu or Dofus

Apparently Path of Exile is pretty good. I've yet to give it a go!
Maplestory but i will warn you it's not Noob friendly(The bosses are out to end you) 
If you like games like Overwatch then i recomend you try Paladins. It is currently in Open Beta and it is fun if you have someone to play with.
