Problem Details:
Hi, so I completely love this game and am currently taking a grade 12 course where I have to use circuits together with arduino to do something. There wasn't much I was interested in but I had this idea. Where I would make a 3D cube, with say, 5 by 5 LED lights on each side and together they would perform animations depending on what is going on in your Osu! That is, I was planning to take into account 3 circle hits, if all three were too slow, then I could have 3 arrows (on one side) moving upwards to indicate you having to speed up or vice versa. Moreover, I could add stuff like an exclamation mark appearing and flashing if your health gets too low
. Maybe even a different mode where I could have the bpm, cs, ar and stars scrolling from side to side of the cube.
Now, all of this pivots around me being able to get some kind of values from osu. That is hp, how late or fast you hit the circles etc.
I am not sure if that is allowed, or even legitimate but I do know there are hacks. As such, I am guessing that there is a way to look into the right timing for a circle and when you hit it an so on. I have an ok grasp on java programming, if that would even help. If getting the values required for this is not possible, could it be possible to see which images are being accessed in order for me to interpret what is going on?
Again, I have no idea if this is possible but I do think this is a cool idea for me to try out and if this succeeds, I could post some videos close to summer of the completed version.
Thank you so much!
