Apparently this is how wikihouse rates the difficulty of the 2000 series:

HOW THE HELL IS HATARAKU EASIER THAN KITASAITAMA2000...?

Someone tell me how the fuck they FC'd Hataraku on the touch screen plz... I'm thinking that the lack of an actual Taiko drum is contributing to the difficulty in FCing this since I tend to press too simoltaneously X_X

Don't even bother telling me to use buttons because I can't even pass the thing on buttons >_>

EDIT: Holy fuck... how does this guy do it? http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm11273438 It just really look like he's mashing the screen, but his handswitches are actually correct....

Now I wonder if there's a legit notechart out there that nobody can FC.(by legit,I mean that there's no impossible notes like unbreakable balloon notes or two notes at the same time or whatever)

BTW~is it me,or do I find Hataraku easier than mint tears?(both on muzukashii)

Yes I do recognize the name, but to be able to read notes on THEIR 1/8...?

To note, maybe I can get youngdow to teach me how he did it in the arcade lol (he showed it to me once... he FC'd Hataraku)

I'm kinda only getting these notes right by mashing at the right pace orz ...well I got to Noruma Max lately so maybe that's a good start D:

Seriously how the hell is this easier than K.Sai2000 >_> This is the only fucking god song I have not yet FC'd. I can't just give up on it >_<

EDIT: Well, with some more practice I can get down the first stream of the last go-go right... I think what I only need is the correct pace of mashing, since I tend to press it too fast believe it or not...

Or I do it the painful way, and memorize the correct switching for each color change...

I think the four god songs require different skills (Inner Rotter needs stamina,KiSai needs the ability to cope with high BPM..etc)
so it's pretty hard to figure out the difficulty ranking of them.Same goes for the tougher 2000 songs.

Err, can someone find me a good quality pic of these pictures (shown in the SS below) with at least 200x200 size (or whatever size you can find, as long as it's not insanely small)...? I just KNOW there are a lot of these images, I just can't find them -_-

Yeah basically those normal poses... >_< I just need a large enough good quality version of those.

EDIT: As I progress in my PAINT.NET ability (lol), I think I can finally make use of the shitload of time I've recorded the Arumi fight. I'm not sure I got good quality results, but since I got something that can satisfy my need for a ripped image... my heart is suddenly starting to race, seeing as how I'm finally making it work:

Also, may I just ask what the heck Ego Ego Atakushi is supposed to be anyway? I tried looking for some answers in google, and all that popped up was either Taiko or iM@S stuff. I have no idea what the name of the song means anyway...?

It is said that Many Wow Bang has its own offical PV, for it's composed for another project.

Also in AC11 there's a TEKKEN character song classified in 765 original. And this song is to revived in AC14.

Many Wow Bang's not composed for Taiko no Tatsujin,but for some show for teaching haiku...somethin' like that.
So I guess we'll exclude that one.
Now that I watched the PV I posted earlier on nico nico,I'm damn sure it's fan-made.Heck,it's littered with Bemani references.

I want the Daikessen OST :<

In any case, anyone noticed that thing that's posted in the window in the Don-chan's Room menu? I don't know what I did to get that, but I definitely didn't notice that the first time I customized my Taiko. Now I have a feeling that there's still some more that's supposed to be posted along with it, since that thing was posted in one of the quadrants of the windows... and I feel that there's still 3 more or something that should be along with it.

EDIT: ...now I'm curious as to if there's some sort of group out there dedicated to breaking every song in Taiko. I've been watching Hataraku FC vids ever since... I don't know how long, and they're practically doing the exact same hand strokes, wtf. >_>

Edit the Hataraku map, cut out the parts until the last go-go time to practice it...

...I AM TOTALLY PUSHING MYSELF!

And I thought at first, they were totally unreadable. After practicing how I did it with Ryougen... I can completely now say... that an FC by non-memorization is actually possible. I'M NEAR

I think it's... #19 in my entire mapping queue or something. Might make an exception depending on what I import on osu! first or if things become too difficult, haha.

Speaking of which someone give me the MP3 of that.

The reason why I do have my mind into mapping that (eventually...) is that... I feel that it's a chance to unite both the weeaboos and anti-weeaboos together, heh.

This song was the one I voted a few months back. Haikei, Gakkou ni te..... If only for the awesome full version (maybe THIS time someone will actually get a high quality recording >_>)

And I mapped TaikOsu ver. of long ver. of Hibike! Taiko no Tatsujin, and it contains lyrics SB made by woodrockman. Maybe useful.

I'm doing some lulz at the moment though, so after Lalala Happiness I might take a while before I map another authentic TaikOsu.

Actually my list of what I want to map is actually kinda disorganized atm. All I remember is that I want to map Lalala, Senpuu, and Dororon :<

And in more DS3 progress... I actually feel that I'm finally channeling my Hataraku hands to my touchscreen, finally... and my scores in both osu!Taiko and DS3 are kinda going at a synchronized pace now (having only around 10 misses and 100-150 whites). Gonna take it easy for a while... but really, now I see why people think Kita Saitama is harder...

Actually, I thought Hataraku was harder, till I played it on DS and found that it was actually easier to score than in Kita, and potentially you can make fewer mistakes.

oh BONJOUR Oh hi there

Uh, well I already knew this song was mapped, but it deserves to have a Taiko Map as well >w<

The song's name is "Disappearance of Hatsune Miku -DEAD END-" which I believe is the full version (as far as I know).

Oh and one other thing. The difficulty name of the map is [Disappearance of Authentic Taiko]. Yes, it does exceed 1000× combo. Moreover, this is probably one of my most the most difficult Taiko Map I made to date, so I recommend watching Auto play the map first prior to you playing the map, but eh, it's your choice :P

Does anyone know of anyone who plays DS3 on an emulator and has a complete Daikessen save? I want to rip some stuff myself, particularly some of the town themes and some of the boss images. I'm not sure if dumping my save from my cart will work, but I'll try, but for now, I wanna ask if somebody has a .sav

Actually, I thought Hataraku was harder
I thought that too, 'til I learned how to get Hataraku down. Turns out that the difficulty of learning how to do Hataraku and Kita is almost the same, but once you learn how to do both, execution of Hataraku is way easier than Kita. There's just this one part on the last go-go time that's preventing me from FCing it (ddd k k ddd k k ddd ddd d), but I have all the streams nailed down without using extra presses <3

I'd be happy if they'd release Tenyou no Mai, but if another different version gets released for the arcade I will fucking rage more than if it did not come out :<

@aqua: I'm not sure if it will, because the last time I tried that, my emulator couldn't load the .sav :/ I'm not sure why it's so, but I will try dumping my save from my cart first.

I've got a feeling that AC!Tenyou(if it exists) will be different from the CS version,since
CS!Tenyou sounds incomplete,as if there'll be more lyrics later on.

Hope that the AC version will be the full version,so that we don't have to make fan-made
full versions like in Senpuu's case.

EDIT: Oh god, all because of this, I feel like mapping Hyakka 2 (forgot the name lol) for TaikOsu:



It will be a really fun thing to SB fake circles! It's an instant TaikOsu candidate! Though I will still need two more things:

1.) Sound file of Kitsune's attack. Since the DS games does not have the option to turn off the music alone, I'm a bit stuck with this... though I might just use her entrance sound file instead since there's no other sound when she enters lol
2.) The ugly circles that get burned. I don't know who's an expert at making those frowned faces on the Taiko, but I will need two images, one for each color. Maybe what one can do is get an image of the Taiko hitcircle, then modify it from there? Somebody please tell me they can do that :< Or just draw an ugly Taiko face from the original one... (...OK I'll be honest that I'm eyeing crystal-donko here lol)

As much as I would like to see something like fake beats in a TaikOsu! map, currently all Storyboarded objects appear under the Taiko playbar thing. This would mean the notes would have a darker overlay (from the playfield) which would make it extremely easy to tell which are which.

Case in Point:

@Azure: I am aware of that, and am disappointed actually since it makes replicating all the boss battles of the Taiko series impossible at the moment. To compensate, I would like to actually bring those boss attacks into their osu! versions in the manner of SBs. A good example would be SBing an entirely black background on black hitcircles to replicate this boss battle:

I don't even know which one is Underworld Overture, haha. But it's basically the 'Ban Nam to Konami' one in NV. But everything's SB'd though so that people are forced to look at it. Can't copy the vid exactly since some tasks just seem completely impossible to make :/

It's more of a technical difficulty which I can't identify, but we've thought up of workarounds on that for now so it should be fixed.

Watch the video again. This is multiplayer. You get point boosts regularly while in that mode with items on. Same case with the number of combos, you can get more than the actual number of combos if items are involved (what would happen to Kurenai on multi then....lol)

Crap. Everytime I play Hataraku on the DS, I press the touch screen too fast and end up missing not because I'm hitting it wrongly, but because I'm hitting it too fast >_> I notice the notes suddenly getting hit too far to the right from the hitmarker lol >_>

That ddd k k ddd k k ddd ddd d stream is still a bitch to hit correctly though >_> too fast orz

EDIT: Lol wtf I got 765 golds on my most recent Hataraku run XD Shame I wasn't able to take a picture though, haha. My touch screen seriously needs a break

I'm receiving insane frameskips and the sound is stuttering while I'm playing :<

All I want to do is record Hyakki Yakou that includes the sound effects of Kitsune. This is actually possible by supposedly using this method:

1.) Get the emulator to work properly <---- can't do this atm due to insane lag
2.) Get save file of Taiko DS3, one with a level 50 Daikessen and has the strongest equips
3.) Go into Daikessen, equip the 20 Def Headpiece and 25 Def bodypiece
4.) Engage fight with Kitsune on Muzukashii
5.) Start recording the audio before the fight begins
6.) Begin the fight
7.) DON'T PRESS ANYTHING. With the current stats, Don should receive 0 damage from missing the notes.
8.) Once the song is done, stop the recording. Remove the parts that are unneeded.

I'm feeling hopeless right now, but is anyone capable of doing this for me :< I just need to record Hyakki Yakou with all the Ko-Kon going around

@Zekira: It's pointless having the entire rip since all we want are the new songs in DS3, so here's a zip I found.
