Status: Camping this weekend. There's supposed to be some kind of Halloween event going on there so it should be interesting.

Status: As if to rub salt in my wounds, sony decided to ruin the music player on their phones even more. Walkman was already replaced with 'Music', now they've made it worse by making it brighter and adding some sort of automated album covers on songs that didn't have any. :c

This campground is less than a half a mile from the roadway they use for the jets. It's right next to this base, so it sounds like I'm at an air show. It's kinda cool to see them flying so close at night with all the lights. Hopefully the Halloween events tomorrow will be entertaining.Renevant wrote:

Yeah I gets, but a 500 word essay is literally nothing. I'd understand if it was a 2000 word essay but if it's a 500 word essay then you can finish that in less than an hour, less than 30 mins if you were a fast writer.a1l2d3r4e5d6 wrote:

Huh? English lang is considered to be a higher, harder and more reputable course of education than lit, but anyways that makes sense as to why you don't know how to write essays well. Status: Someone brought up lucid dreaming in class today. Reminded me how I used to try and lucid dream all the time. Their conversation caused me to break the indifferent and boring character I portrayed myself as and made me start acting normally, shocking the people sitting near me. But man, trying to lucid dream sure is scary. I could never manage to do it though. I only got to the stage where you begun to hallucinate right before sleep paralysis. Has anyone tried and succeeded before?

While yes I can enter a lucid dream state, I have no actual 'control' entering them myself. It kinda just happens. Almost like my subconscious makes me enter that state without me noticing it and by the time I had noticed, I was freely walking around in the dream.Ochinchi-sama wrote:

Every time I entered such a state, it was always a different factor. Sometimes it would be from extreme fatigue. Other times it would be from playing a long session of a game before bed.
