1.) I'm a lazy searcher and I don't know if anyone made this topic yet
2.) Hell I don't even know if Marvel vs. Capcom is famous worldwide
3.) But I do know I was able to play with a lot of people online on the PS3 version of MVC2

Well, I'm sleepy at the moment so I'll just post what I posted in another forum:

Well, I couldn't be bothered to look for the first ever trailer that was released, that made everyone go 'AAAAAAAAAAAAA OH GOD THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU" even if it was so short... it did feature never mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6vR-d2LZi4

Chris Bedfield? I don't know who he is, but apparently he's a good addition to the roster.

Chris Redfield is definitely the next Cable.

I'm still quite impressed with the game so far sans Deadpool's voice. I'd like to see what other characters we get now, though, so I can decide who I'm automatically playing as when I get this game. By the way, fuck Morrigan. She's the Darkstalkers icon, sure, but she kinda sucks in every game but Darkstalkers.

I'm surprised that Iron Man's Proton Cannon still does a lot of damage.

I thought Capcom was going to fix that. Guess not :|

Some specials just to shitload of damage, and Proton Cannon is one of them, and honestly I've actually accpeted it ever since MVC1 lol

She was never that fun to play as, even in Darkstalkers. She wasn't too good in MvC 1 or 2. She absolutely sucked in TvC. Now I'm hoping that they at least announce Talbain as a playable character or something, that'd make up for the shit that is Morrigan.

To be honest, I never played Darkstalkers. ._.

Well, from what I can tell, she plays alright in MvC 1 and 2. And I liked Morrigan because of her Soul Eraser hyper combo. :P

But I didn't like what Capcom has done to Morrgian in TvC. Her Soul Eraser hyper combo is gone. :(

And some of her hyper combos aren't impressive...

Hope they do her right in MvC 3.

Once you play Darkstalkers you'll see how trash she is compared to the rest of the cast.

The game is looking awsome, but it would be nice to see at least one new move from the older mvc characters.
I'm also hoping to see X or Zero in the game, and also Phoenix Wright, that would be hilarious.

That said the graphics seem very unique, made to look like it's printed on paper, like a comic

Since Capcom did Viewtiful Joe AND Ameterasu I really hope they put Gene in a future game. They confirmed he wasn't because apparently his moveset would be too similar to Dante and Deadpool despite him not using guns or swords. Also, confirmed Pheonix Wright isn't in it. FML.

No need to make every sentence a new paragraph, especially when you are connecting similar ideas.

In any case, though, I think Arthur is a great choice, and I'll end up using him (at least for awhile). MODOK seems like it's in line with the typical MvC approach on Capcom's side, which involves breaking out characters nobody really remembers from Marvel's past to try to A) reel in the hardcore Marvel fanthings and B) balance out the game with some other types of characters. In general, though, MODOK's blocking seems nonexistent. If I want stage control, I'll probably go for Dormammu.

So does anyone have a list of the current characters now? I kinda forgot some of the other previous ones lol.

Well it's not like I would switch my decision of trying to main Ammy anyway, her mobility looks very versatile; 8-directional air dash is something Capcom characters really, really need, as because I remember only Bison and Dhalsim have that in MvC2 or something.

Hopefully they found a solution to make Magneto not too broken now.

EDIT: Wait a minute, did Magneto just get a level 3? Is everyone here getting level 3s or something?

Also,

Marvel has stated that Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is "all about fan service"
This is either 1.) Crushing my hopes for Hiryu's return or 2.) Putting my hopes up that both Hiryu and Hien make an appearance.

Niitsuma has been asked if he plans on releasing the game on other consoles besides the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, in which he responded that if the game sells well, there is a possibility that it might be released on the Nintendo Wii as well.
Oh god please tell me this will happen and it won't take them more than 3 months to make a Wii port...

Not what I meant. I meant if he kept the same bullshit set/framedata from TvC. Zero was unbalanced and the only character people used online. Seeing how he could easily get cheap K.O.s.

On the side note, Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath has been confirmed to be in the game...as DLC characters. :| Plus, Capcom confirmed the release date for the game.

Mega Man X needs to be in a fighting game. Just saying.

I mean we've seen Mega Man (classic), Megaman.exe, Megaman Volnutt, being in some fighting game. Even both forms of Zero have appeared in a fighting game, but X has yet to be seen outside of the MMX series (not including MMZ)

Ah, Shinkuu Hadouken can now be angled?

Hopefully Ryu'll finally be of use in this one, and even better, replace Cyclops' role from MvC2 as the most versatile battery (I doubt it though)

TWO NEW CHARACTERS CONFIRMED!

C. Viper for Capcom and Storm for Marvel. Neither are particularly surprising, nor exciting. But hey, always nice to have more girls.

First post also updated with hi-res artwork for some people. Like Jill and Shuma-Gorath.
