Please stop asking if you can record this or that you can sing whatever you want just dont add any effects!

So when I read the rules saying it could be mixed down I thought it was alright to add reverb to it to make it even out with the song.
I just went through the comments though and saw that reverb wasn't allowed and only found out after I submitted my entry,
would it be okay for me to resubmit my entry without the reverb?

You should have listened to the example, it meant putting an instrumental if available.
