Does anyone have any experience with peripheral controllers for taiko? I've been thinking about getting a usb drum-kit for it, but it'd be a money sink if it didn't work...

I don't know ... You should buy a WII taiko controller I think :)

Theoretically, as long as you have some way to get Windows to recognize the controller, you should be able to use Joy2Key or something similar. Or if you got a Taiko controller for the Wii, as Roganis said, you should be able to use GlovePie to get it to work with Osu! I'd think so at least.

I'm in the process of building/scripting a solution to get my drums working with Taiko on my laptop with my Rolands. I've done it with RB drums before, so I'm positive it'll work out. With RB/GHWT drums you can just Plug and Play, and usb drums would most likely work the same only better since input lag isn't an issue there. Joy2Key is the way to go with the interface, imo
