My Avatar is the Stage 3 Boss of Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, Hong Meiling! She's one of my fav characters in the whole Touhou Project, just because she's a wimp and she can't really do anything. Future Boy Conan, I was struck in awe as a kid and also recently as an adult. It quite possibly the best pre-ghibli ghibli type of animation that has been made. He sees a girl on the shore rushes to her side whilst carrying the huge effing shark he just caught by diving for like an eternity. That's just the epitome of manliness. NEVER GONNA LET MY MEAT GO! My avatar is a drawing someone I know who goes by the name of Slash Segary made for me a year ago and recently I found the file again and decided to open it in Photoshop and color it(plus remove the notebook lines and sketch marks)
I added credit to Slash in my sig.
It's funny, my only problem with the drawing was that he wasn't smiling, but in real life that's about the exact expression I have all the time anyways XD.

Changed my avvy to Yukari Yakumo. See page 1 of the Touhou thread in Other Games to see the insanity this character can deploy. Had to shrink it slightly due to it being 150 pixels square.
While it means I no longer have the Gun Del Sol in inventory, it does mean that I can just border hax and take anything I want (in character).

Oh, Japan. My avatar is from Moyashimon, or Tales of Agriculture, one of the oddest anime I've seen in my time. The storyline? A mostly normal heir to a yeast-breeding company(yeast, for what else? Sake!) has one large quirk. He can see bacteria, not on their molecular level, but as 2-inch freaking bobbleheads. This includes the yeast his father's company makes for fermenting different grains. The little guy you see there is that beast, aspergillus oryzae. He can almost always be seen trying to cheer up the main character, but his often unexpected appearances usually only cause poor Tadayasu to panic or become annoyed at his ability.
Now, that's when Moyashimon was an almost educational anime, and that was it's charm. However, that theme pretty much died at episode six. If you're really into heavily implied lesbian pairings at an agricultural university in Japan, then Moyashimon after episode six is probably your anime to watch.

Flash to draw the initial character and flat-shading, and then Photoshop to blend colours, add additional shading, and of course to photoshop the munch.
