f(n) = n+1 , yep the function should be polynomial with integer coefficients, or a exponential with a positive integer base ~ , and after some work, I get this answer, I'll post my solution here if you wish though xD

I got this
problem 3) well it's a regular hexagon, so it has 6 equilateral triangles inside, and each one will be 12√3. The area of an equilateral triangle is (s²√3)/4, so each side is 4√3 :D

    Only numbers starting with 2000, 4000, 6000, 8000, can be considered. Leaving 4000 possibilities
    Only numbers with 0,2,4,6,8 in the hundreds place will work. Leaving 2000 possibilities.
    Only numbers with 0,2,4,6,8 in the tens place will work. Leaving 1000 possibilities.
    Only numbers with 0,2,4,6,8 in the ones place will work. Leaving 500 possibilities.
