It's a nice job, I'm waiting for the very final release to overwrite the old taiko skin (even though I barely use it, only for special purposes)

2: Not sure what you mean but if you mean that the hitbursts are slightly covered, that's due to the fact that the scorebar/lifebar is the topmost layer in terms of skinning so everything else appears under it.
3: It's been fixed slightly in the newer version and there's nothing I can do about it until things are changed in-terms of animation. I would love to rip Wii5's sprites but I can't find any resources nor an ISO I can rip from.
4: I've been relying on LQ lineouts from AC0 so I'm not sure what the true colour is.

Ahh I saw the video of a few videos with this skin and I finally found you!
A few things to point out:

Don-chan is not moving very smoothly just yet. Hope it's already addressed in your new versions! (If you like, try using Wii5's sprites. They seems better for slower frame rate like in osu)

Combo voices are PSPDX. Not complaining because at least much realistic than the pre-DS3 stock, and I know how hard AC0 samples can come by.

The splash of the 良 isn't so flashy that i will eventually get saturated by it like with the default downloadable taiko skin
Only thing i didn't like is the difference in loudness between normal and double hits.
Double hits are much louder than normal hits.
I like the approach of same volume but reverb added.
But it's a solid skin so far.

Love this skin~ just a couple of things to point out
- The actual clear point is lower down the bar than the クリア point
- Big notes sound really loud compared to small notes

I have a question, i always wanted Osu's taiko to look exactly like the one i play on arcade and/or console. I saw your skin as my salvation, but i dunno why, my taiko stills looks like the old one, look:
Maybe its a bug or i made a mistake installing it, i dunno.
My main objetive is the "buttons bar" to look larger, as the original arcade one.

I dunno if i explain myself well. The "buttons bar" its larger, so the player has more time to react. The bar of Osu its WAY too short, and the player has a very low reaction time.

Though, I couldn't get the meter to work properly for me. When I added the .png, the color still ends up where it normally was (In the top left corner, above where the score meter's supposed to be.) I don't really know how to fix that.

I don't know if you ever plan on editing this skin again, but with the drum it kinda goes over the border and it just doesn't look very well like that.
