Basically my play style is playing with index/middle finger in right hand as movement, and index/middle finger in left hand as dash (yes, I always click dash with 2 fingers, even if it's small key). Keys? For dash there is Z, X, left alt, left shift, sometimes left ctrl, in the past there was tab, A, Q, sometimes I want smaller distance between hands, then I set it as "?" key, right shift, right alt, right ctrl... left hand arrow and right hand dash.. imagine that e.edefault + dash with left click (left hand)
I use the default, left, right, and shift. At one point I considered left right and click for shift.

It really sometimes confuses me about why players want to use one hand to control the catcher. I honestly felt it as faster for the fingers to separate the dash button from the movement buttons. After seeing how big and bulky the Shift button is, I might change to a different key at some point. 
I play with Numlock 1 + 3 for catcher and 1 for dashing

because it is more easier to control
It seems to be an unorthodox way of playing, but it's preference.
EDIT: I'm just wondering.
Have any of you guys actually changed the way you play even after you "thought" you had an established playing style? I've tried going back to default settings and my hand is not programmed to JUST dash with the left and move left and right with one hand.

I started doing this because I was stuck with puny arrow keys on a laptop for a while, and I could not get used to them. Eventually I couldn't stop playing like this even when I got to use an external keyboard again.

Default is the most comfortable.
left - right and for double speed I used space but you can change the keyboards numbers.

The default (< + > + LShift) is the most comfortable for me, I've tried others but I always end up going back.
