Edit : How can you change the background dimming in the videos? I prefer 75% dimming in all my videos.

I dunno what's going on now, but the RAM constraints bit was when you tried to upload an osr it would give that as (I assume) darkimmortal did that.Maav wrote:

I can totally understand removing the upload button for that reason. And add a message with what's happening in the page. It's a more practical solution.
You probably won't be able to run it in a VM, as guest 3d acceleration of any great speed tends to only work for windows guestsCarlGel wrote:
Aw, that stinks.
Thanks for the good times though!
I guess I'll have to go and figure out Arch so that I can continue to be lazy with my recordings.
Would a VM be sufficient do you think? I have more than enough spare RAM, CPU, and GPU resources to go around, but running WINE in a VM seems kinda strange to me.
Got it, thanks.Darkimmortal wrote:

To be honest you'd probably be better off just running it on Windows directly, just substitute GLC for something like dxtory and add a bit of code to trigger recording and find the resulting fileCarlGel wrote:

Maybe if I stop being lazy, I'll go and find one of my spare computers and start installing on that.

I don't think you can upgrade the hardware for a server you're renting. D:Beatmastapat wrote:

It's actually a colocated self-build, but it's not feasible to add a GPU as the cooling is struggling enough as it isMaav wrote:

How come "your new screen works bad with fraps"?
Also, try Dxtory or Bandicam.

An increase in pixel size can though, it can cause the game or fraps to lag.Maav wrote:

The only downside is that my Youtube account is merged with my Google account so when it tries to upload the video, it kicks back an error.
A way to get around this would probably be to do the same thing twitch.tv does when you link the account. It asks who you want to use Youtube as before you send the upload instead of just linking the account.

640x480 (that's the actual resolution, video is upscaled to 960x720) at 30 fps is the best the hardware can manage - running osu without any 3d acceleration is difficult!TaMul wrote:

It won't (feasibly) run on a vps - ideally you need access to a gpu, and failing that you need a top-end intel cpu for software renderingkrisnapradnya12 wrote:

I want to make osu! record on my own vps server :3
This is not actually an error. osu!record records replay at a standard definition and judging to your own osu screenshots, you are playing at a high definition/widescreen setting including your skin which is in HDTaMul wrote:
My skin is not adjusted in your recorded video.
Yes, you can customize the skin. You need to compress your skin files to zip format or simply the osk and upload it to the sitefeebeewoo wrote:

I tested on the Standard definition(800x600). but my skin adjusted. Look at this!ashketchum1234 wrote:

Normally all you need to do is attempt to upload a video manually on youtube first, but failing that there's an option somewhere to create a legacy youtube account, I believe it was mentioned a few pages backMcBob49 wrote:

I'm getting the "no linked youtube account" error. But shouldn't everyone get that now that youtube is part of google?
Izzypookins wrote:
Sorry for the 3rd post, but I figured out a fix to the issue I had in my previous post:
Instead of using your regular Youtube account, switch over to the linked Google account you're using. Once you've done that, go to your Youtube settings for your linked Google account. After that, click advanced:
After that, you'll be at the page below. Click the thing that I've circled in red, and set it to your Youtube account. This will make it so any uploads will go to your Youtube account by default, and thus, allowing Darkimmortal's app to upload to your site!
