Fixed for new update! This skin uses Version 2.0 (New skin behaviour)
Note: I have stopped supporting this skin and will not update it anymore.
skin.ini for those who customized some elements and don't want to redownload. Drag this into your skin folder and overwrite what is present.
Version 1.1 (May 28th)
No previous change from Version 1.0, only a fix for the update.

I'd like for the default combo colors to be just a tad bit brighter, however that is my opinion and I play with very low brightness.
Edit: Nevermind, I got used to it. Its a really great skin :D

Thanks for the kind words guys!
Eventually mod icons are going to be redone and the missing skins parts (stuff like lighting.png or hitcircleselect) will be added. Just wanted to rush out the skin for now due to the high demand there was on my stream.

it isnt using the spinner from the skin for me, it shows the default osu spinner animation :(

Weird, it happens on some resolution and not others, I personally play on x768 resolutions and it doesn't seem to happen on it. I'll look into it next time I fiddle with the skin files.

Azer, I have found that approachcircle is same size as hitcircleoverlay which is uncorrect. It cause the perfect hit to be when approachcircle overlap with hitcircle. Maybe its purpose to be like this. Also they are not perfectly overlapping nor touching.
Pls make note that I colored the circles in photoshop to make them just more visible.

I feel like this is such a minor problem it's not really worth going back and fixing, I don't really care if this skin isn't absolutely perfect in every aspect, I just wanted to make a skin with quanteck and people want it so I posted it here.

A minor problem ? NO! Please rework it! This is very important to have approachcircle and hitcircle fit each other, if they dont, player are gonna be confused by using this skin ... and even worse u can ruin their reading...

Please think about it

Great skin, looks nice and clean. I think my only criticism would be that the rank letter colours look a bit too similar to each other. Good job nonetheless :)
Also, a small tip that I haven't seen other skins take advantage of: the game will render hitbursts behind the hitcircles if particles are present (i.e. particle100.png, etc. You can make them invisible, it'll work as long as the files are there). Otherwise, the game will just display them on top, as they always have.

It's callled a theme.
It took us around 6-7 hours maybe since the same gradients were reused a lot

any way to get rid of the gradients behind the hit circles? it's giving me a headache lol, i thought you could change it in the .ini but i don't wanna mess anything up.

This is my experience as well. The spinner has turned into an annoying orange and red swirl that hurts to look at.

EDIT: It's fixed by adding the line "Version: 2" without quotes to the General section of the skin.ini file found inside the "Black 2014 x Aesthetic" folder.

If You're talking about the main menu when a large osu! icon comes up and You need to click It to access Song list & options-menu... You need a supporter-tag for that

i wonder if there is hit-300 back-up, cause if you name a blank element as hit300-0.png and another one hit300.png, then the latter would be used to shown in the pannel and the former would be in-game-play.

This is a problem I have only with this skin for some reason. The hit sounds won't work for me, and I have double checked that I have "Use skin sound's samples" on and "ignore beatmap hit sounds" on. I checked the files and nothing looks wrong. Can someone help me solve this. It bugs me with no hit sounds with this really cool skin.
