I feel your pain. Same thing happened to me just about two weeks ago....I think there should be no more broken links on the front page, so fear not, they're all there(can't say the same for the custom maps, but majority of them still worked last I checked)

lepido, you might want to set the Preview Time for Zenryaku to 1898. Sounds better that way.

Well, You mean setting offset to 1898 ms? If I do that, the first note will come with vocal or come before the vocal starts. (it sounds like 'スイヤ'... mabye.) Check this.

I have a request if it's possible! Brand New World from Taiko 7 PS2. It's an One Piece opening. One of my favorite openings that I haven't been able to play, unfortunately. If it's possible, I'd really like to play it in osu! No rush! I'd make it myself if I didn't suck at timing so much.

Unfortunately the only thing I can do right now is get the MP3 and time it.

The reason for this... well, the same reason why I still haven't mapped Rarara Happiness right now: I'm currently enslaved on the internet until Jan. 11, and I've been removed of the priviliges of mapping what I want by the one who has enslaved me (don't ask how, it's a gimmick of ours) so... :\

From BPM 40 to BPM 320. Harder than Rotter Inner, easier than Ryougen(according to wikihouse)

FREAKING HELL.....I'm getting the mp3 of this at first chance!

Go-go time is 320, but sped down to let you see the notes. So vicariously there's no 320, but half of that.

Also, the part where the notes are really close together is snapped to 1/8, not 1/6

I checked wikihouse. The parts on the Kiai time are not 1/6 either, they're ALL 1/8. So it might as well be BPM 320

I'm not that interested in Hataraku 2000 because I never be able to deal with it. It seems too hard for me... I'm not good at taiko as you guys...

Hataraku 2000... One of my weak point is high BPM, and that one has over 300? *sigh*

Argh, I want to play it, but my forearms are shot from too much osu! taiko today.

I also discovered that I've been spending the last month and a half at a 18ms offset. Putting it back at 0ms, my accuracy increased in some areas and decreased in others. Strangely, maps that I felt were mis-timed or I was bad at accuracy wise, I have found that I'm much better now. Hmm.

I had a feeling that Kitasaitama's place as "hardest 2000 song"
is going to be challenged.(some say that Hataraku's harder than Inner
Rotter and Kitasaitama,but easier than Ryougen no Mai)

Senpuu no Mai's quite a let-down,I was expecting a long version of it.
Yet we have different lyrics,an obviously harder map but no change
in length :(
Also,streams.Just..streams.

The new Kikyoku series song sounds frickin' AWESOME.The map's
nice too,but probably not as hard as I expected.

Okay, I'm going on a trip to Kuala Lumpur from the 19th to the 23rd. So I won't be here to update for about four days. But once I come back, I'll update all the maps and try to get Hataraku 2000 Oni together. I want to play it as much as you guys do~ :)

I'll also probably be able to snag all the mp3s of the new songs when I come back.

I was actually talking about the kiai time, with a combination of 1/6 and 1/4; uh wait, so that's the 320 BPM but halved speed? So in effect that's actually one-half spammage with the distance of 1/4s? And with 1/8s in the middle?
Like I said, there is no 1/6 in Hataraku 2000. Look, check the Wikihouse notes and I'm sure you'll understand better.

Cool. Wanted to thank you for Waruru-sama no Uta o Kike~!. Such a fun song. Kudos to Namco for giving Taiko Wii 2 a story mode. Not because the story mode is good or anything, it just makes a convenient excuse to create these awesome villain image songs. I hope there's a Taiko DS 3 next year so we get another story mode with accompanying image song.

So if someone can get a KitaSaitama200 MP3 for me, maybe I can add it to my (currently in the Graveyard) KitaSaitama one and change the title to 'KitaSaitama' with the 2000 and 200 inside the diff. name... Yeah I'll be using the multiple-mp3 trick for that too.

@Malajax: You're welcome~ I'll be happy as long as Taiko remains on Nintendo systems(because that means I can play them).

@Zekira: Multiple-mp3 trick? I wanna know that~ I'm trying to put the full version of Hikari no Kanata e into the same set as the regular ones.

Any maps created today will have to be carried over to the 23rd before I update. Busy packing and all. Sorry for any inconvenience~

0.) Make sure the difficulty in which you want to use another MP3 is already made. Put one note anywhere.
1.) Put the other MP3 in the folder containing the mapset.
2.) Open up the .osu file of the difficulty to change the MP3 in a text editing software (e.g. Notepad)
3.) In the AudioFilename: , replace the string there with the filename of the new MP3.
4.) Go back into osu! and edit away

AFAIK this should work.

Maybe it's just ignorance on my part again, but just wondering if the bpm on shiny smile is different for arcade because that was pretty fast! Or you were using a different mp3 file? In any case, I love both of those maps from Taiko DS 2 and I'm happy to play them on osu!

shiny smile's BPM is EXACTLY 170 BPM, and the mp3 file is different.
Hum, that's need to be fixed!!!

Yeah,definitely made for osu! standard only.
There's no way Oni's a mere 350 notes if it's
authenic taiko,especially when Futsuu's got
slightly over 300 notes.

And Chrome sucks until they get an ad blocker.

Remix 8 (speed/ninja remix) from the DS game, Rhythm Heaven. Oni++ has so far been the hardest difficulty I've ever made, taiko and osu included. (Sorry for the 1/8 streams. :3)

EDIT: Finished updating the list. Wow this is getting a bit tiring, lol. Thanks to you guys, many of the blank spaces in the authentic list have been filled up. :)
