So I downloaded it. Put 10 songs on it, it worked great with no problems. Then I decided to check out the editor. I added a song to the songs folder, then started editing the song in edit mode. I measured the bpm just fine, and when I clicked on compose, it asked me if I wanted to save my changes. I hit yes, and it gave me that common error message that everyone seems to be getting. So the program closes. I open it back up, and it seems it still works fine. but then when I went back into the editor the same thing happens. Then when I tried to play some songs in play mode, the songs appear but there is no audio. There is no audio when the song plays, or when you hover over it in the song select screen. I also notice that the red logo doesn't bounce. So obvious solution would be to uninstall the program and start over again. I did this, and there is no change. I added each song one by one, thinking that a song may have corrupted everything and still no avail. The game still doesn't work. I've reinstalled it multiple times. Any suggestions?

Hi there.

It sounds as though your audio has totally locked up.. Could you try restarting your pc maybe? Do you get any clicking/cymbal wounds when clicking on the menu/hovering the songs in song selection? It really sounds as though something got stuck during the last time you played, though. Please give this a try and see if it helps!

Yep, restarting it twice somehow fixed it. Although I still get the error in the editor mode. Thanks for your help. : )

Which error message is this? It'd be a great help if you can screenshot or paste the error in here!

This happened to me once. I was mucking around with the .osu file to fix a slider, but I used a comma instead of a colon to define the point. This locked up the editor for that song. It'll automatically quit, ask if you want to save, then crash.

Bump for potential fix in b107. Please try and see how you fare!
