Hi, Rei :3 from my Taiko modding queue~

Marks (On Taikos):
"d" = don (red note)
"k" = kat (blue note)
"D" = Big Don (red + finisher)
"K" = Big Kat (blue + finisher)

  1. 00:15:000 (3) - missing whistle on head?
  2. 01:28:500 (4) - add whistle..?
  3. 01:51:000 (3) - need whistle as (1) does so
  4. 02:00:000 (1) - maybe finisher fits rather than the whistle imo
  5. 03:15:000 (3) - missing w
  6. 03:27:000 (3) - why not is this without whistle
[+020%]
  1. 00:46:500 (1) - umm... is this whistle on the way really necessary?
  2. 00:54:750 (6) - maybe remove finish sounds better
  3. 03:29:250 (4) - put on y:48 so you can keep the same distance x0.81
[+055%]
  1. 00:26:625 (70) - move to 00:26:437 - so you can follow the sounds better
  2. 01:59:812 (359) - I'd like to remove this .w. just sounds too much, or if you want to follow the drum then add k on 01:59:719 - instead of removing that
  3. 02:11:812 - the drum is heard nicely here so add d?
  4. 02:34:687 - Around here I didn't find what are you following when I heard for the first time... Put k on 02:34:687 - it can suit the flute very well
  5. 02:41:062 (462) - delete this --> add k on 02:41:437 - instead?
[+100%]
  1. HP6 is pretty better than HP7 since this song is relatively long and this diff has much more notes than +055% diff
  2. 00:22:125 - this dk kk confuses me a lot since a strong sound is here so please add d here
  3. 00:28:875 (152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159,160,161,162,163,164) - I hate streams in such a way... please don't change colour at blue tick in streams unless it sounds fit. This sounds weird so I suggest replacing into something like this image.
    The bass sound at 00:29:250 - and 00:29:625 - are fairly strong and they last some duration so starting don at white tick will goes very well.
  4. 00:34:219 (193) - move to 00:34:125 -
  5. From 00:25:500 - to 00:57:000 - , No more than 1/2 breaks for 32 seconds... removing some notes like 00:42:187 (255) - would give players opportunity to recover
  6. 01:10:687 (461,462,463,464,465,466,467) - - Yeah changing colour in like this place works very well! <3
  7. 01:20:250 (536) - remove this?
  8. 01:24:187 (566,567) - imo removing these can let players recover
  9. 01:29:437 (608) - d?
  10. 01:40:875 - maybe you can add d here
  11. 03:23:625 (1371) - d sounds better
  12. 03:35:437 (1457,1458,1459,1460,1461,1462,1463) - ddkkkdd?

From the people who brought you

comes this mod.

[General]
:!: <Taiko> Background: Adjust vertical location so that the three girls' faces may be fully seen.

[5%]
:!: VERY. FLIPPING. BORING. Most of the map consists of a very monotonous 2-beat rhythm. I can see the basis being taken here, but the result is not satisfactory and more should be added to balance out.
:!: Sliders like 00:18:750 (2) are too thick and has a twirl too small, making the twirl ended up as a coglomerate of slider width and ticks which lacks a definitive course of propagation. Reduce circle size or enlarge the twirl or both.
00:57:000 (1,1) - Very bad usage of spinner: The second spinner does not align to the large tick. End the first spinner 1 beat earlier and snap the start of the second onto the tick.
01:00:000~ and similar - At resultant SV0.36 these parts are painstakingly slow and could cause less-able players to accidentally misjudge the velocity and end up missing by going too fast. Slower is friendly to new players, but too slow is just another challenge.
01:30:000 (1) - End 1~2 beat earlier and note at original end.
02:54:000 (5,1,1) - Very bad usage of spinner: The two spinners does not align to the large tick. End previous elements 1 beat earlier and allow the spinners to snap to the ticks. Also for the second spinner, end 1~2 beat earlier and note at original end.
03:30:000 (1) - End 1~2 beat earlier and note at original end.

[20%]
:!: Very disconcerting snap ratio usage: 00:28:875 (5,6,7,1) are at 1 beat apart but has a similar separation as 00:07:500 (2,3,4) which are at 2 beat apart
:!: Refer to above diff for issues about bad usage of spinners and so on. Apply if applicable.
00:42:562 (1) - Start 1/2 beat later and note at 00:42:562.

[55%] Perceived difficulty rating: 7★ Muzukashii
:!: Sofuran is not very intuitive and hence poses some degree of distraction. Revise or remove.
:idea: Certain parts deserves more consistency.
04:00:000 (723,724) - Very bad usage of yellow drumroll: The lingering note in the music is divided into two distinct notes. Remove (723) and start (724) at 04:00:000 instead.

[100%] Perceived difficulty rating: 9★ Oni
:!: Sofuran is not very intuitive and hence poses some degree of distraction. Revise or remove.
:!: Long streams like 00:11:250 (29~37) are rhythmically supported by percussion, but given the individual sounds are of the same quality across the interval, the notes should also be of the same kind (don/katsu). Throwing in mixed streams in a whim may give a more intriguing challenge but are not well supported by the musical context.
:idea: Personally I do not support the use of SV1.60 because that translates to an apparent HS1.14 across the chart.

Add a break at 02:09:000 or where ever you fancy but I think you should add a break there. Other than that everything else is fine on it. Also on the 0.05% too.

isn't without break is already fine ? o.o

Easy: well it doesn't looks good with 1.04sec break.
Normal: 0.53sec break

lol those breaks too short,

I don't know why you went the extra mile to remove some spinner NCs on the Standard difficulties. They aren't even following any particular pattern.

e.g. in 005%, 03:18:000 (1) - has no NC while 03:30:000 (1), which basically follows the same pattern but is louder, has an NC.
e.g.2 in 005%, 03:30:000 (1) has NC while the exact same spinner in 020% doesn't.

You could either make all spinners NC, or you could make the NCs follow a better pattern.

Other than that, the difficulties themselves are ok.

i don't really remember on mapping it lol, but i'll try to fix some NCs inconsistency (like on 20%) or overused (on some spinner on 5%)
thanks btw (will give later)

00:21:749 (54,55,56) - d k d isntead of the current kdk
00:27:000 (71) - how about moving to 00:26:812 to fit the music and change it to k and then add a small d at 00:27:562 -
00:30:750 - add a d here? Sounds empty
02:29:812 (426) - move it to 02:30:000 -
03:14:250 (567) - change to small k due to increasing pitch
03:14:625 (568,569) - dk instead of kd
03:16:125 (573,574) - kd instead of dk
03:18:000 (579) - k instead of d
03:30:000 (619) - d instead because of lower pitch
