Once TnT Wii 2 is out, I'll try to the best of my power to get an mp3. I already mapped Happy de Rippa, so you can have this :D

EDIT: Oh, the Soroban thing, I haven't really inspected it closely yet, but the current osu! version has the same notes as the ones on Taiko Wii...if they changed anything for 12.5 or something I don't know yet.

With that aside... @aqua: wow... 1MB. I'll still be waiting for the actual-quality MP3 though (and the charts :\) (and if it exists and if possible, the opening vid too)

EDIT: Ack? I have to keep putting red timing sections for the barlines to go proper ._. some parts of the song have the first beat jumping to a 1/2... (wait I can't word it properly. Let's just say some of the sequences finish in a 3.5/4 manner)

If there was somehow a way to rip La La La Happiness straight from the official site, do tell me~. That's the highest quality music as you can ever get.

Also, I might make a difficulty for this song before the official charts come out. This theme song is win :D That's the highest BPM for a Taiko theme song I've ever seen (190)

Yes I noticed it was 190. I'll probably go and map a non-authentic osu! map for that song for now so that I can get a feel of it (yeah, I must be so narcissistic feeling good with my own maps) before I map a TaikOsu authentic.

Also, I would like to request for the opening movie ASAP... :3

EDIT: I just now realized that its offset is indeed, constant... since the 3.5/4 parts happen two consecutive times, it will still follow a proper 8/4 (oddly enough) count.

Just like Numujika ac.10 then. But even if the beat finishes on a 1/2, the song will still follow the correct BPM. It won't show when you play the map.

I don't really know about the opening movie. There hasn't been one since TnT Portable 2.

No, arken. There's a theme song for every Taiko game. But there was no opening video for DS1, DS2, or Taiko Wii 1. Happy de Rippa doesn't have to be unlocked, as with every other Taiko theme song.

Yeah your map is following the old standards, but it's pretty cool nonethless (though it's very confus~ oh wait, the entire song is confusing compared to any of the charts anyway). I had a hard time FCing Insane even though I knew it was based on Muzu...

I actually had to tone down Insane because it was too hard :P

It sux mainly because of the low mp3 quality. It's not so much the map's issues.

Most of them are already unranked Taiko maps, and I have Koibumi (Taiko-only) on BSS, but it's graveyarded. Taiko-only can't be ranked yet :/

I'm going to have to wait a long time.

EDIT: Oh, Zekira. If you do get Kita Saitama ranked, what should I do with the Taiko authentic set that I mapped? I don't want to waste it.

Okay, you're taken to the difficulty select screen. Go to Muzukashii and continue to tap the right kat 10 times. That's to unlock Oni.

Go back to Kantan and tap the left kat 5 times to go to Baizoku. 5 more times gives you Sanbai, another 5 to Yonbai, Doron, Abekobe, and then back to regular mode.

To unlock the secret songs...wait, I bet they have them unlocked already, so you shouldn't need to worry about that. To get to Urahumen, tap the left and right kat alternatively while on the title screen(after slotting in your coin) 20 times. Taiko 11 will display 'Hazure?', and Taiko 12/12.5 will have the logo shine golden, if you do it correctly.

arken: You're making Koibumi 2000? That's another set of my Taiko maps down the drain. With complete lyrics too. :| Oh well.

If you want to do this with Taiko 11,you must unlock 114曲 then do it :3.
Otherwise,it doesn't work :3...

As far as I know,most of the taiko arcades are
located in Kowloon,especially in Mong Kok or
Tsuen Wan.There are machines in IFC (in Hong Kong
island) but the prices are crazy so better not
go there.
I personally go to Dragon Centre,one of the
few arcade centres under-16s can enter.I'm
16 already,but still...

Does anyone know what matty uses as the font for the lyrics? I'm thinking of prioritizing in mapping Taiko 7 PS2's opening as a christmas gift to the osu!Taiko community, and probably the osu! community in general too (I'll even ask it to be ranked on Dec.25 ahaha)

1.Make this with 1 BPM(around 120)
2.Set BPMs 120*n(n=0.5 to 6 every 0.1 per 1 tempo)

I think there's one godly person there (Uru) and he dominates the leaderboards with like scores over 1.15M (Namco Originals and other popular 9-10 Star songs).

I do have my name there, but not as much as him. @_@

Well, most 9-10 star songs go up to 1.2+M, so if you can get a lot of "great", then it's simple getting 1.15M+

I can manage less than 70 可 on consoles, but on the arcade it's usually hovering around 100 :P

Scores on the arcade for me are always around the low 1.0M+, highest I ever got was for FCing Carnivorous Carnival (1.12M)

Lol cool. And yes, I have my own trusted bachi - been using them WORLDWIDE for two years already. It has hit various Taiko drum machines in Malaysia and Hong Kong. Well, I cut them from two long (semi thick) sticks which have the thickness of a mop stick and made it very smooth with shalet and sand paper. It's very light and the drum machine responds very well to it.

If the new arcade opens with Taiko 12.5/13, guess who will frequently visit them. =_=

And where's Kita Saitama for the 2nd trial???

Edit: oh what the heck, I'll try to map Mori no Kumasan (Oni + Inner Oni) and expect X-DAY2000 and Caramelldansen to come back soon.

Now, I wonder why I forgot that. It feels a bit awkward though, if one-third of the Trials are 2000 songs. I'll put Kita Saitama in somewhere. Maybe ditch DON'T CUT

I want my own set, but I'm terrible at carpentry, and I don't know anyone who is good at it.

If I end up going to a university in KL, I'll be storming that Taiko too :lol:

It's super easy; just cut it with a saw and make it smooth and you're done!

youngdow uses western sticks with sawn off ends. Using these he was able to FC kita saitama2000.

flyboy, would you be able to give me length and diameter (girth) measurements for your sticks?

Just interested if I want to make my own, if I visit one of my sister's in London I plan to hunt down a taiko machine.

Please do -- DON'T CUT is one of the easiest (possibly the second easiest, even) Urahumens. Too easy in fact that it qualifies for Oni :\

...pffft, Wikihouse doesn't even have the Oni entry for Bouken Hyouri. Oh well, guess I have to do it the long way...

No thanks to Inner Oni, but I'll take regular oni! :)

Very fun song. I would think it's definitely trial worthy, but I know nothing! I have yet to beat a 9 star song.

Not fun at all, the speed is crazy...

It went up to 720 BPM, that's insane. I can't even read the notes there.

Edit: 3 remade Taiko maps adjusted to proper timing and Kiai mode added!

Maybe it's me. I'll just say that I've played and heard the song being played dozens of times and it feels as though something is off. I appreciate your efforts though :)

And it's about time we get a Doraemon theme in here! We already have Anpanman, so why not Doraemon?
